Lindsay Maxwell ~life in California ~COMPLETED

BEACH

            Wednesday and Thursday passed very quickly even though they were boring, the only things I did were;eat, sleep, watch TV, put on any clothes I saw, ate almost all the snacks in the house and have my mum regret I didn't go to school.

On Thursday night, everyone was busy preparing for the next day.

  I woke up late today, hey,it's Friday. I had breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, afterwards I went to check if I needed anything more. By noon every one of us was ready, we took our bags to the car, I helped my mum with carrying the picnic basket then we entered the car and drove towards the beach.

We were almost at the beach when I got a message from Scott

Hey,my family and I are already at the beach, are you almost here???

Yeah, we'll be there in a few minutes

Okay we are expecting you 😊

After few minutes, we arrived at the beach, we got down and started offloading the car then we saw the Andersons, I greeted the parents first then I went to meet Scott where he was

"Hi Scott " I said smiling

"Hey Lindsay, how are you?" He asked hugging me

"I'm okay " I said and hugged him back. Tricia and James made sounds behind us

"Hi, Tricia " I said hugging her

"Hey dude " Scott said to my brother punching him softly on his shoulder

"Hi Lindsay, I like your outfit " Tricia said, I was putting on a black top, a pair of jean shorts that ended way above my knees, a hat and a pair of white beach slippers.

"Thanks " I said and they both went away

"They are really bonding " I said after they left

"Yeah, they are, " he said and looked at me

"You look really beautiful in that " he said again smiling

"Thanks " I said blushing

"Is that all I'm getting?"

"What do you mean?"

"Can I get a hug or something?"

"Really? That's what you want?" I asked and he nodded

"You can be creepy a times " I said laughing then hugged him

"Well, you can say that again " he said hugging me tightly

"Ok kids, it's time to eat " my mum announced and we went to meet her.

   We ate the ham, jelly and peanut butter sandwiches with soft drinks that my mum packed for everyone. Afterwards, we the children played beach ball well except John, I and Tricia were on the same team while Scott and James are on the same team, they won and teased us. We ate the doughnuts and chocolate bars Mrs. Anderson brought then we separated; I and Scott went far away from the others and close to the water, we teased and ran after each other playing with the water.
