Aria moves about in her seat, adjusting herself as she wanted to get comfortable. She was inside Elle's pickup truck (refer to the picture above), waiting for the elder who was talking (or at this rate being reminded by Aria's mother) at their front porch.
Elle had her back turned at Aria so all she could catch a glimpse was of her own mother who was all smiles discussing things with the elder before turning all serious another second — hands all over as she seemed to explaining something.
Not a minute later, did the two elders already bid their goodbyes as they neared the truck together.
"Aria. Make sure not to bother your cousin too much." Her mom teases the younger who only puffed and sighed as she crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. "Have fun you two!"
"We will, auntie!" Elle responded with a huge smile before getting in the driver seat, waving her hand at Aria's mother, before starting to speed away.
"She didn't nag too much now did she unnie?" Aria says in a soft whisper as she looked over at the elder, who only chuckled at her as her response.
"She's just worried for you, baby couz." Elle replied, as she continued to steer the wheel. Her black locks that were tied up in a high ponytail, moving as the cold wind blew.
Aria just had passed (more like aced) her finals, and had moved up onto a higher grade which resulted to being granted one wish by the elder. She had pleaded for a picnic under the stars to which her older cousin, by seven years, complied.
As the two drove off to somewhere Elle planned, they turned on the truck's built—in stereo and played some songs — jamming to some BTS Hits such as Mikrokosmos, So What, Love Maze and many more until they arrived at the site.
They were at what seemed to be a cliff (that had wooden fences at its borders by the way) that had a beautiful overview of the entire city.
"Wow." Was the only thing that escaped Aria's lips as she went out of the truck to peer at the beautiful city lights.
"Beautiful, right?" Elle asks as she crossed her arms over her chest and smiled as she peeked at the view. "Looking at it makes you think it's Christmas again." The elder chuckles softly as the younger only kept looking over the city, amazed at how colorful and lively it looked during at night. "Come, help me set up."
The two went to the back of the truck, and began to arrange their makeshift bed. The truck was parked near the edge where the front was facing the road while its back faced the view of the city.
"Oh God. This feels like heaven." Aria exclaims as she happily lied down on the soft comforter and grabbed a small pillow to hug, while her head was situated on a huge fluffy one. The night sky, was above her head. "Omo. So many twinkling lights!" She says out loud with a giggle, as she tried to count off the stars.
