Chapter - 5 The Talk

The day came when it will be six months to their marriage...he received calls from their families and he just gave curt replies and he didn't see Khushi for the whole day..that's it..he won't delay this...He waited in the living room for her and she came around evening...he had already asked kaki to come later that night to avoid anyone's presence.

"Welcome back home Khushi...ohh..i forgot it's not home for you.." he said sarcastic

Khushi heart was beating harder and she tried to avoid him to go to her room when she felt his hand gripping her harshly and pulled her to him. She felt scared the way he was looking at her.

"Where do you think you are going?" He said fuming.

"Leave me Arnav..i need to go...i ..i have work.." she stammered.

"Ohhh yeah right..work...it's very important work indeed...so who is he?" she looked at him confused..

"Ohh..now don't be so innocent ...it can't be work at night...it must be guy... how disgusting you are...if it was like this and you had someone in your life you could have told me way before...why you made my life hell? Do you think i will let you succeed in your plans...then you are wrong..."

Khushi felt her heart broke on his accusations... "Arnav..you are not in your senses...let me go.." her eyes get tears up.

"No i won't and don't fake these tears...you are hell of a player i must say...but it's over...i know you fooled everyone ...your and mine families...then pretend and blame on me and look who is mysteriously absent all time and how you get money all this time to survive as you don't take me your husband so tell me what's going on...and what you think i am dying here for you then you are wrong..i can have much better than you...but sill i tried for this marriage to work...but not anymore...now tell me what is your plan?" he shouted at her while again grabbing her harshly by arms.

Khushi never thought this would be so painful...the way he spoke...how dare he...he was one who destroyed her life...no she won't listen more...she used all strength and pushed him away.

"How dare you say all that to me? How dare you Arnav? It's not me but you, you are responsible for what all is happening... the truth is i didn't give in your demands so your ego is hurt...so as always put all the blame on the girl isn't it? How convenient..." she pushed him again shocking him.

"Yes i didn't want to marry but you were so desperate to get me and look even my family didn't listen to me. They blamed me for my father's ill health and i was made to agree. I wanted to talk to you but you never wanted to meet me, always denied me. Even then i tried to meet you but you..chiii...you are always busy in that bar with your so-called girls whom you sleep with every night in your bed...and you blame me having someone?"

Arnav was stunned about her revelations... what the hell she is telling all about? "you are lying, you never called to meet me.."

"Ohh yeah right...I did...don't lie... I saw you myself with that girl that night in the club...and your drunk friend with two sluts. Another day you even hit your friend saying you will marry me anyhow. Then at CCD, I saw you with another girl and your two male friends...she was advising you to trap a partner to have a property... so tell me how much you asked my father? You are the one who had a new girl every night and even now you must be having it...so don't you dare accuse me...And you know even your friend advised me the same about your habits..but my ill fate... you and my family ruined my life.. I even lost my job because of you...but not anymore...you can have your life...you wanted to be free na...even I want too...but I won't forgive you for this...ever" she cried bitterly and ran out of the house.
