Next morning,

Arnav gets her ready for hospital and the doctor instructed the nurse to open the bandages so that he can examine the injuries. Arnav made her sit on the bed when the nurse started to remove her bandages when Arnav thought to leave but Khushi held his hand. She hissed as the nurse pulled a little roughly. Arnav immediately gets close to her holding her tight. She was gripping him as much she can as pain shot through her leg.

"Ahh.." she cried out.

"Can't you be careful dammit....It's hurting her." He literally shouted at the poor nurse

"But sir it's normal to pain." She tried to reason

"It's not normal...if you can't do this properly then I will do"

Khushi was shocked at his anger. "Arnav please calm down"

Arnav looked at her teary eyes but she was insisting him not to yell.. he sighed.

Khushi looked at nurse apologetically... "I am sorry...you please do the needful"

Arnav sat by her and held her close as nurse removed her bandage and throughout she held him tight but the pain was getting worse and her tears made way.

Nurse opened the hand injuries as well till then doctor came and smiled looking at them...looks like things are getting better between them...he thought smiling.

"Sshh..Khushi...it will be fine soon...I am here na..." he soothe her and caressed her hands to ease her pain

"Let me see her..." doc said coming close to them. Arnav even then stayed close to her as she wiped her tears fast.

Doctor was impressed by her recovery but advised them to be careful for a week more to get bandaged removed. After check up done Arnav took her to a park.

Khushi got confused... "why are we here?"

"Umm I thought you stay all time at home and don't get to move out so...it would be nice here"

Khushi just nodded. He took her in her wheel chair to park. It was warm and cozy. He brought her something to eat.

"It's beautiful here..."

Arnav smiled... "I thought you will like it"

After some quiet moments Arnav looked at her watching far away.

"umm khushi...wo...i want to say...i mean i was thinking that"

Khushi looked at him struggling with right words.. "what?"

"Khushi, till the time we decide about us..our relation...can we be friends at least... I mean will you accept my friendship?"

Khushi was stunned for a moment and her eyes welled up. Arnav thought he made a wrong move.. She might me thinking he is trying to force himself on her.

"Arnav I am not fit for friendship"

"Who said that?"

She shrugged and looked at her hands in lap. "You have nice friends Arnav.. you should be with them"

Arnav held her hand "Yeah one of those tried to ruin my life"

"But you have Aman"

"But I want you" Khushi sat shocked "aaa.. I mean I want you as my friend.. I have never met a person like you and I want to know you more and at the same time I want you to know me..."
