Chapter - 8 Is It Real?

Khushi was in the maze of pain. It was hurting. She wants to run away, far away but something was holding her back. No she can't stay here. She should go. Why should she stay? No one wants her. She had wished and dreamed so much but everything broke down. But a sudden voice called out to her, faint whispers. It's him.. Arnav??

But trust me Khushi...I have always loved you and only you

She can recognize his voice anywhere. Don't know why and How..but she can. He love me? No he can't love me...specially me...

There was no one before you and there will be none after you..

No...it's not possible.. He..can't...did he really?? Where is he?

But please open your eyes...

He wants her? But no one wants her. Her heart jumped excited and nervous but suddenly she felt sharp pain shooting through her...she was unable to move and she fell down. The pain was making her blank, like she will collapse anytime. She had wished once that she wanted to feel once what it was to be loved...even if it's her last breath. Does that mean it's her end? The pain was unbearable now and she again wished things were different...and it was all real...Before she gave up on her pain.

Arnav felt movements making him alert. He lifted his head to see khushi shifting restlessly and whimpering. He called out for doctor panicked making Aman alert who was sitting outside ICU. He too rushed in with the doctor.

"Doctor please look at her, something is happening to her" Arnav said panicked...

Doctor checked Khushi and gave injection making her calm down. Doctor came to him.. "Relax...it's her injuries pain. She will be conscious by tomorrow. Congrats."

Arnav and Aman smiled and thanked him before doctor went away.

Aman went back to waiting room while Arnav went to Khushi holding her hand close to his heart, hoping for everything will be right this time.

Khushi blinked her eyes open to see white everywhere..bright lights...is she dead? she can't see properly. She could feel the same pain again run through her..She whimpered trying to move but she can't.

Arnav jerked awake feeling movement beside him..he looked with shock and happiness...his Khushi was awake.

"Khushiiii....you are awake....thank god...he was happy beyond limit"

Khushi looked at him with surprise and shock both.. "Arnav??" it was more of question...

He could feel her surprise on seeing him. He held her face softly smiling to her. Khushi was still lost looking at him. What is he doing here? Why he is happy? Where is she? It was again pain shooting her making her wince

Arnav got alert "Just relax I just go and inform doctor" He went out and called for doctor

Aman too saw him.. "Hey what happened?"

"She is awake Aman...but having pain again" he said making way to call nurse or doctor.

Khushi was still in haze of dream and reality. Adding to this her pain was increasing.
