Complicated//Haruno Sakura//Adopted

Chapter 2 (slightly edited)

Hello, lovelies! Neanai here! 

I have up to 'Stage 1' of Complicated mapped out, so I decided to go ahead and start updating this story en masse. I'm starting to edit these chapters (don't expect a miracle though, I'm at the library for two hours only at one time) now.

I'm starting to think I'm becoming nocturnal.

Also! A few notes:

1) I made the length of travel time from the village to Kiri last 2 days (the village you set sail to Kiri from, I should say). I'm not sure if that's correct, but I don't particularly care at this point.

2) I made 'Inner' Sakura's repressed personality. I don't know if that's a thing in real life or what it would look like, but in this book, 'Inner' sorta acts like a split personality, only the more Sakura releases her repressed self (the more that she accepts her more aggressive side), the more they become one. I normally do more research, but I can't be bothered by that right now.

3) I am going to go with the harem option (like I said at the end of the last chapter), as that works best with my plan (you see mentions of Gaasaku long before you see mentions of any of the other options). I'm basing her off of myself, where she has multiple crushes at one time. I'm similar and it causes severe anxiety when I'm in a relationship, which I show later on in the future chapter. 

4) I'm NOT going to be doing any type of sex scenes, though you can expect make-out sessions and pregnancies. I'm not comfortable writing sex scenes with females, despite being one myself, only because I have no idea how that would feel like (that sounded so weird). Anyways, no female sex scenes in either my Sakura-centric books UNLESS I get confident enough to write one (doubtful). I'm probably going to rate this as mature as it will get steamy at times and the language and talks of sexuality might be a bit much for the younger age group.

5) I like describing clothing accurately, especially Japanese clothing, so if you see mentions of certain types of kimonos or obi or accessories, it's from my 'Japanese Clothing Guide' that I created to help understand everything, though I have a lot more research to do. If anyone knows where I can find more info on Japanese clothing, feel free to give the website URL and I'll look it up!

Please don't flame me for anything, including weirdly-worded chapters.

Sakura sighed as she left her home behind. She knew that she'd have to leave the village eventually, but she didn't want it to be so soon. She knew that the aftermath of the war was going to be devastating for all the villages, so she found herself making her way to Kirigakure, the village hidden in the mist and the village who had suffered the heaviest losses.

Along the way to the port village, she helped smaller villages with bandit or thief problems, earning a small income. Everyone she helped praised her for her strength, intelligence, and kindness and gave her more than they had agreed to.

She had tried to deny the extra money every time, but they all insisted that she deserved the pay and it really helped her when she needed to rest and eat, as she had about 200 to 300 Ryo left even when paying for a room and a meal.

She smiled at the thought of having extra money but frowned when she thought that she was taking advantage of people, no matter how much they thought she deserved it. She sighed as she knew that no matter what she said or did, they would want her to have the extra money.
