Mew and Gulf have been in Bora Bora for nearly a week now, and they had done just about everything they could possibly do. The only thing on their schedule for the day was the one thing they had both been looking forward to since they arrived; scuba diving.
Mew and Gulf left their wedding rings in the hotel where they'd be safe before meeting with two scuba instructors at 4:00pm, and hopping on a boat for the next fifteen minutes. They talked with their instructors, going over what they were doing and getting used to the diving equipment.
When the boat stopped, they were at a beautiful cave with bright coral everywhere. The instructors, Ohm and Don, helped Mew and Gulf into their scuba gear, and adjusted their oxygen tanks. Once all four were ready, the boys dove into the water, swimming into the cave. Gulf swam alongside Ohm, admiring the beautiful coral and fish all around them. Mew swam by Don's side, smiling from ear to ear as a school of fish swam past him.
The scene was absolutely stunning. The couple had never seen such clear waters, colorful fish, or bright corals before. It was something they would never forget.
When their oxygen got low, Don and Ohm let Mew and Gulf back to the surface, and onto the boat. Mew settled in on a seat next to Don, directly across from the seats that Gulf and Ohm took. The four of them peeled their scuba suits off before taking their seats, talking about all the things they saw.
On the way back to the dock, Ohm passed around water bottles, and took his place next to Gulf again. "So where are you handsome boys from?" Ohm asked.
"Thank you," Mew smiled, "We came from Thailand. We're only here for a few more days, so we wanted to make the best of it." Mew and Gulf smiled at each other.
Ohm took a sip of his water before speaking, "You two are probably the best customers we've had all day."
"Really?" Gulf perked up.
Don nodded and put a hand on Mew's thigh, "Yeah, you guys are really laid back and nice," he smiled at Mew.
Gulf's smile faded as he focused on the foreign hand on Mew's leg. Mew chuckled, noticing his husband's jealousy, and deciding to tease him.
"Well, thank you," Mew smiled and put his hand on top of Don's , "You guys are pretty cool yourselves."
Gulf not-so-subtly rolled his eyes, taking a sip of water as Mew flirted shamelessly with his instructor. Gulf looked out at the water until they got back to the dock, unable to look at Mew.
The boys got off the boat, and Mew made sure to tip Don well when he paid. As soon as he stepped off the boat, Gulf started walking back to the main road to get a taxi. He knew what Mew was doing, and he was getting tired of it.
Mew sighed as Gulf sped away and paid Ohm as well, "Sorry about him."
Ohm smiled, "That's okay," he bit his lip nervously, "I do have a question, though."
Mew raised his eyebrows, "I may have an answer," he smiled.
Ohm scratched the back of his neck, "Could you give me Gulf's number? Sorry, I just think he's really cute."
Mew tilted his head back, nodding slowly, "Oh, um, he's married. Sorry."
Ohm pouted a little bit before Don spoke up, "What about you, handsome? Can I get your number?"
Mew chuckled and put his hand on Don's shoulder, "I'm the one he's married to."
Don and Ohm shared a dumbfounded look before looking back at a smiling Mew, "Sorry, boys."
Mew left the boys speechless to go after Gulf. He jogged up to the street and caught a taxi, knowing that Gulf was probably at the hotel already. Mew tried calling Gulf on the way there, but to no one's surprise, he didn't pick up.
