Riding to the shire in the pitch blackness in my rider gear was a thrilling experience even though I don't know why I am going. You see Gandalf invited the Dark Rider, not Owl. So I have to hide from everyone.

I came up to the hobbit hole on the hill and knocked on the door. Gandalf answered with 13 dwarves and a hobbit peering behind him. I crouched down a little and came in.

"Rider, good to see you." He shook my hand. I smiled and looked at the others. I felt a little cramped in this hobbit hole.

"Rider will be joining us on this journey. We might need it. She has high combat skills." Gandalf said. A certain dwarf came to the front of the group. I recognized him. Thorin Oakenshield.

"So you return to the company?" He asked.

"Wait? You know each other?" Gandalf asked. I smiled at the surprise.

"Yes. I was loyal to the line of Durin. So was my kind. Didn't you brush uo on the Dark Rider history, Gandalf?" I said.

"You have the book so how can I?" He responded.

"Anyway, I spied on the North during my time back then but was too late to warn them about Smaug." I replied and looked at Gandalf.

"So when did you know about Smaug?" One of the dwarfs asked.

"After he was coming. I saw the dragon start going to Erebor from my window so I was going to warn sooner but my father refused me to let me go." I replied with a little annoyance in my voice. Thorin sighed.

"Let's get some rest." Gandalf said. I smirked and went to a chair. I watched the others fall asleep and I heard footsteps.

"Don't you need rest?" Thorin asked. I smiled and he sat down.

"You're talking to protector of Middle Earth by night. I don't think I need sleep." I sighed.

"I know I shouldn't ask this but what did happen to your race?" He wondered.

"A lot of people ask so it's really not a problem to me anymore. Um, how should I start? Well, evil hated us more than good hated evil. Well, my kind are the protectors and did raids on evil people. One person was the strongest Dark Rider and she or he was the leader. In this case, it was my mom. She was the leader. So she gave me her powers before this happened. Well," I shed a purple tear, "Azog's father declared this battle. Well, in the middle of the day, they raided our village. And since we are vulnerable in daylight, it was easy for them.  Everyone died. One person did kill Azog's father. At age 3, I had the most powerful and strange powers that didn't make me vulnerable to light so I used the energy and killed him. Now Azog is planning to cut off my head." I sighed.

  "At 3?" He gaped.

"I had powers. It was simple." I smirked.

"So why did you help us dwarves?" He mumbled.

"I help anyone in danger. It is the duty for the Dark Riders or if I die, the Blue Hooded Rangers to help no matter if they are a different race. You guys were in danger so I just wanted you guys safe. I know I didn't help your father but I am planning to help take back your kingdom with all that I can." I smiled. He returned it and yawned.

"Get rest. You need it." I told him. He dozed off and I looked at the fire. I played with my boot buckles, buckling and unbuckling them. Thorin woke up and looked at me with suspicion.

"I thought you would not be so bored." He smirked.

"I have nothing to do and I didn't want to wake you with me sharping my weapons." I replied. Fili came in and looked at me and Thorin.

  "Let's go." Fili said.

"Okay." Thorin said. Morning was coming and I used my powers to keep my appearance. I got up and Fili smirked. I walked out and mounted my horse. I followed behind Thorin and looked at him.
"I bet he will come." I told him.
"I will give you a bag of gold coins if he does." He smirked. We shook hands to make it official and we rode for awhile until I heard something.
