A few days later, we were in a forest by these mountains, hiding from orcs, you know the usual. Bilbo was on the look out and I was sitting, playing with my belt since it felt uncomfortable. Bilbo came running back and I looked up.

"How close is the pack?" Thorin wondered.

"Too close." Bilbo replied. I stood up and looked to Gandalf.

"I think you know where we have to go." I whispered to him.

"But he isn't fond of dwarfs." He mumbled.

"But he likes us." I smiled. He nodded and sighed. There was a huge roar and Gandalf nodded. I picked up my weapons and adjusted my hood. Bofur came beside me and I looked at him.

"You should tell them. They need to know who you are." He said. Allora came by me and I crouched down and she got on my back.

"Telling them isn't safe. For them or for me." I replied, getting up. Allora wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs sat on my waist. I sighed and we started running. Allora kept quiet and my hood almost fell off. She kept it on for me and I smiled. We got to the field in front of the house and we ran faster.

"Hurry! To the gate!" Gandalf ordered. We got in the gate and I looked back to see Beorn come through the trees. The dwarfs pushed and Thorin was the smart one to unlatch the door. We got in and closed the door as Beorn came to it. I latched it back up and set Allora down.

"Sounds like he is leaving." Ori  said.

    "Who was that?" Bilbo asked.

"That was Beorn." I said, going toward of the hay bails. I set Allora there and got out my other cloak, laying it on her.

"Can you sing me a lullaby?" She asked. I looked at Thorin and he nodded. I sighed and sang one of my favorite lullabies. She yawned a fell asleep. I stood up and the others went to lay down for rest. I went to Gandalf.

"Get rest. I can stay watch." I told him. He sighed and went to rest. I sat in the corner of the dining room as it got dark and looked out the window. I saw Beorn standing guard and I smiled. I saw a rock on the ground and I picked it up. There was a snap and I looked outside to see Beorn in man form coming in. He looked at me and smiled.

"Rider!" He whispered. I smiled and stood up. I put the rock in my pocket and hugged Beorn. He is my friend because he lets me stay here when I travel and we understand each other. He is the only left in his kind too.

"Why are you here?" He wondered.

"I am in the company of Thorin Oakenshield." I replied.

"A dwarf. You know I don't like dwarfs." He said.

"I know Beorn but orcs are after us. Especially me and him. I care about him, a lot." I sighed.

"You care about him? Is this what I think your saying?" He smirked.

"I hate to admit it. I like him, sure. But the thing is he can't see the real me." I looked at him. He smiled.

"I will help. Shadow is here, by the way." He said. I smiled and he went to rest for the night. I sat back down and waited. When the sun came up, Kili sat up. I watched him as he came to me.

     "Morning Rider." He said.

"Hey Kili." I said, pulling out my knife. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. I hushed him and threw the knife above Thorin's head. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Morning." I smirked. I held out my head and the knife came back to me. Thorin came over and I threw it at Fili. I kept doing it till I got mostly everyone up. Gandalf almost yelled at me but Beorn came downstairs. Allora thought what I did was funny. Bilbo eventually woke up and I smiled.

"Are you going to eat?" Gandalf asked. I sighed and shrugged. I grabbed a piece of bread and ate it.

"Why are you not hungry?" Allora wondered. I shrugged and Thorin looked at me with suspicion. I looked outside and saw Shadow eating some grass. I walked out and went over to her. I rubbed hher nose and sighed.

"How am I going to tell them?" I mumbled.

"Your going to have to someday." Bofur said, coming closer. I nodded.

"But it was my duty to keep it within me." I replied. He sighed and I turned to him.

"We are going to come up on Mirkwood. I will after that." I sighed.

"So you don't want your own family to know." He wondered.

"I don't want anyone to know." I replied. He looked down and shook his head.

    "Why?"

"My life was on the line since I was born. Since I was 3. Since I ran away 5 times a day. Since I was raised in a royal family. Since I joined you guys and since Azog has been tracing us."

"You didn't have to come with us!" He snapped. I sighed.

"Fine." I mounted my horse and Bilbo ran out.

"Rider, where are you going?" He wondered.

"I am leaving the company since I am not appreciated here." I replied.

     "Please don't." He begged.

     "Bilbo. I know-"

"Who is going to help me when I am in that mountain? Who is going to do what I am supposed to do when I die?" He asked. I looked down and gulped.

      "I am." I replied.

"Then don't leave." He said. I sighed and Bofur went inside to get the others. Beorn let us borrow his horses and he came to me.

"Your mother gave me this to give to you. Good luck Owl." He whispered my name. I looked at his hand and he had my mother's necklace. It was shaped like moon. I grabbed it and smiled.

"Thank you Beorn. I could always count on you." I smiled as he helped Allora on my horse. He nodded and I clicked my tongue. Here we go to another place.
