I think it's Cora. If Cora doesn't exist, Regina doesn't exist. And if Regina had another mother (idk or that is possible but maybe it is in OUAT) then Cora don't killed Regina's boyfriend and Regina never became the Evil Queen. And if she never became the Evil Queen, she never wanted to kill Snow. And if she never wanted to kill Snow, there was never a curse who brought everyone to Storybrooke and Emma would have a normal live as a princess.
So if Cora doesn't exist, the whole story was very, very boring.
