A couple of days after my thirteenth birthday I had a huge nightmare. One day, I was getting ready to head home from school with my best friend. All of a sudden, someone grabs me up and hitches me out the back door. I'm kicking and screaming and kicking and screaming, "Someone, please help," I cry as we exit. A big heavy guy, so forceful. "Get in the trunk and don't say a word or else," he says as he ties me up and gags me. I nod my head willingly. As we ride off, I pray to god my best friend will notice I'm gone. Please, is that too much to ask God? I fall asleep, after what seems like forever. When I wake up, we are unloading everything in a foreign place. He takes me inside the small cottage, that smells like alcohol. Yuck! "Mmmmm, MMmmmm, MMmm," I muffle. "Shut up," he tells me. We enter a room where I see another girl in the corner, just as frightened as I am, maybe even more. She looks like she's been there for a while. He takes off my gag, "Meet your new roommate, Celeste, You guys will be spending a lot of time together." He exits. "Are you okay, how long have you been here, what did he do to you, do you need help," I ask. She looks hesitant at first, but then she begins to speak. " I'm C-C-Celeste, I've been here for 53 days, he kidnapped me while I was trying to pick my sister up from school, and there is no help to get," she tells me, one tear rolling down her cheek. I scoot closer, telling her, "It's okay, don't loose hope, someone will get us." "I'm not so sure about that," my kidnapper says. I'm frighten and jolted by his sudden appearance. He looks me in the eye, somehow it feels like he's threatening me. I stare back in desperation. Three days past, me and Celeste watched the news, my mom is looking for me. "Please God, find me and Celeste," I pray. The next morning we wake up to helicopters swarming the cottage. "James Burtron, release the hostages, we know you're in there," a guy over a megaphone says. "Thank Goodness, We're saved," Celeste and my eyes light up. James enters, " Come on, we have to go, hurry up." He takes us outside a gun pointed at each of our heads. " My baby," I hear my mom shout. It brings me relief to hear her voice. The guy on the megaphone once again says, "Release the hostages." Just when he is about to let us go, he jolts turns around, and a couple of his friends grab us. "NO," I scream. "NO," Celeste screams. "NOOO, MY BABY, " my mom yells, I can tell she's going to cry. At that very moment, my mom jolts me awake. "Lily, dear, are you alright, you were having a nightmare," she says. "I'm fine mom, just a bad dream," I tell her. She embraces me in a hug and instantly I feel better.
