Not A Normal Night

No One's POV

(Y/N) was walking through the forest as he rubbed his hands together while breathing on them. He followed the path to the shack full of fire wood as a group of birds flew out from behind some trees and into the sky. As he was walking he stopped at the side of the trail to crouch down and picked up a totem to turn it over. {Guidance: (Y/N) was in the shack as he opened a closet showing a hatchet stuck in the back of the closet. He pulled it out to examine it} He set the totem back down to continue walking down the path for snow to crunch beneath him.

When he was nearly there a honey badger came out from the woods and ran towards his feet causing him to jump back. The animal ran past leaving (Y/N) to breathe as he heard the snow crunch beneath him a few feet away. He turned around to not see anything having come up with conclusion that, "It's just a deer or something." He kept walking to run into a river where the water rose up to cover the path as the land sunk two feet. (Y/N) could just walk, but he didn't want to get his feet and lower legs wet. He saw the other side for it to only be five feet away, "I can make that."  He took a few steps back to run a little and jump over and land on the other side. His foot slipped a little, but he managed to catch himself by bringing the foot up and setting it down.

He continued walking to soon reach the shed full of firewood. The door was locked for some reason, so he took a step back to see that the shed wasn't small. It was quite big actually as Josh told him that his family kept all of the tools and power tools inside. He walked around the left side to see an open window big enough as him, but it was to high up. He noticed a very tall tree next to the left side though to where the branches were above the shed. He came up with a plan a he remembered that Josh told him that they kept the firewood on the right side of the shed as all of the tools were on walls, draws, and in closets. He ran up the trunk of the tree to jump onto the side of the shed. He quickly jump off of the small version of a house and back to the tree with one leg. He repeated doing this until he got high enough to make his body straight and go through the window and roll when he hit the ground. He stood up in the middle of the shed, and when he went to look for something to chop the wood in half as some deformed creature was on the tree looking down at him.

He looked around to find an axe hanging on the wall. He examined the blade to find it find of dull, so he put it back, "I may use this." He walked towards a closet to open it with a bag of weed killer, a canister of gasoline, and a bag of coal on the bottom. There was a chainsaw hanging on the top, "That seems overkill for a little bit of firewood." He then saw a hatchet in the closet, so he pulled it out and examined it, "This will do." He put it in his belt as he was about to grab some firewood someone was running towards the shed. As (Y/N) grabbed a piece of woods to instantly drop it as the door banged. (Y/N) held the hatchet up for the door bang again as Jess' voice was heard, "Open up open up open up! Please someone open up!" 

(Y/N) looked completely confused as he walked to the door to open it. Jess quickly walked in with a t-shirt and panties on as she pushed (Y/N) out of the way as she closed the door, "Close the door! Close the door!" "What? Jess what is wrong?" Jess kept acting frantic as if though (Y/N) didn't say a thing, "We need to barricade the door!" (Y/N) looked around to grab some duct tape and the axe. He stuck the axe in the wall and attempted to pull it. The axe stayed signaling that it would not budge, so he wrapped the doorknob and axe together with duct tape. He took a step for Jess to keep acting frantically, "That won't hold them!" "Hold what?!" The door then banged silencing the two for the door to bang once again, but harder. Jess coward behind (Y/N), "It's here. We're gonna die. We're gonna die." This is what made (Y/N) hit the point of worry as he looked at Jess, "What was chasing you?" The door then banged early bringing the axe out, but there wasn't another bang. Instead a screech that neither have ever heard before was heard for it to be followed by silence. The two stayed quiet to then hear wood being stepped on as they looked to their right to see a figure hanging on the tree. It stayed there for a little while until a hand came through the door making the two jump, for the figure to jump through the window.

Mike was running through the woods as he had a lamp and rifle in hand, "I swear I shot the guy. Did Jess get away?" His question was instantly answered by hearing Jess to his left, "Mike! Help me!" He started running to his left, "Jess!" He was then surprised as he heard (Y/N)'s voice, "Get off! Let go of me!" (Y/N) was being quickly dragged through the forest by a weird creature as he was screaming from fear. He frantically looked around to not see Jess anywhere as he then looked up at the sky as he remembered something, '(Y/N) took the hatchet and put it in his belt as he went to grab some fire wood.' He quickly grabbed his hatchet to swing at the hand at whatever was carrying him. He seemed to be successful as it let go, but he also cut his leg a little making him wince in pain. He laid in the snow as he recollected himself until he saw a shadow covered figure in front of him as it was behind a tree. He could not make of it until it jumped at him showing it in light for a second. Within that second it was shot sending it to the left and down a small hill.

(Y/N) sat up a bit to look to his right showing Mike as he swung his gun over his shoulder while holding his lamp up. Mike quickly walked up to him to offer his hand, "(Y/N) are you ok?" (Y/N) took his hand as he was helped up, "Yeah I'm fine." He took pressure off of his left leg to keep the wound from bleeding for as Mike looked over the hill to not see anything, "Did I kill them." "Who?" "The one dragging you." "What was dragging me wasn't human." Confusion was stricken on Mike's face, "What?" They then heard Jess scream again causing Mike to quickly start running towards the direction of the screaming, "Come on!" (Y/N) started following Mike as they ran on some rocks in a running stream, dodged tree branches coming out of the ground, and went down a cliff as Mike fell a little, while (Y/N) had to jump down on the final obstacle for him to wince in pain due to his leg. The two continued forward for them to enter a mine as they heard Jess once again.

They walked down a few stairs for Mike to find a totem as he picked it up and turn it over, {Guidance: Mike was petting a wolf as it wagged it's tail} Mike set it down as the two continued to find themselves walking down a railing for mine carts. After a few seconds they walked into an open area as an elevator shaft was in the middle. Jess was on the elevator with scratch marks all over her along with some blood. Mike quickly went to her side, "Oh God! Jess! Jess I'm here! Are you ok?" Jess opened her eyes a little, "Mike?" Mike went to get her off, but the elevator went down a little for it to then fall all the way down with Jess still on it. Mike was so shocked that he started to lean forward, for (Y/N) to to grab him preventing him from falling. Mike was pulled back making him stand as (Y/N) stood next to him.

(Y/N) went to say something, but they heard something above them. A figure peaked it's head out for Mike to shoot at it. He missed as the figure ran away for the other two to run up the elevator. The stairs stopped, but they could climb up the elevator and onto the platform the figure was on. (Y/N) went first as he took the risky and quick paths, with this Mike followed him allowing him know where to go. When they got to the top (Y/N) jumped onto the platform for Mike to follow suit. He failed though to hang on the edge with his upper half, luckily (Y/N) grabbed his arm and help him up. The two continued running to see a man walking out of the mines for Mike to take aim at him and shoot, but the gun was jammed. Mike threw the gun down, "Fucking thing." (Y/N) started to run forward, "C'mon. He's getting away." The two ran out into the snow as the man was walking to some weird building. When the two started walking towards the building (Y/N) gave Mike his coat, "Here. That shirt won't do you much." Mike gratefully took it as he put it on, "Thanks." As they walked down on the path (Y/N) saw a totem behind a tree. He picked it up {Loss: Sam and (Y/N) were climbing a wall for Sam to grab a loose rock causing her to fall. (Y/N) wasn't quick enough to grab her hand. Sam landed on the ground on her back as blood surrounded her.} (Y/N) set it down to continue waling with Mike.
