What's happening in America right now A/N

(I'm going to keep updating this to let you know)

I'm sorry to bother everyone but some people have no clue what's happening right now in the United States and I wanted to share what's actually happening.

-The government is trying to silence protesters and people trying to speak out about what's happening within our country

-We are having peaceful protests until the police tear gas and shoot rubber bullets at people

-Donald Trump has said that "once the looting starts, the shooting starts" basically saying he cares more about objects than his own people.

-Protesters are becoming "missing" but the media doesn't talk about it

-A nine year old girl was pepper sprayed by the police just for protesting

-Police shot at a doctor who was trying to help protesters (this is a war crime)

-The national guard has come into states and helped put down protesters

-A black trans woman was beaten up at a protest and killed

-We have officially passed 2 million cases of the Coronavirus cases in the U.S and Donald Trump is still lying to the American people saying that they have everything under control

-Racist are shooting down protesters with guns and kidnapping protesters as they protest

-People are poisoning protesters by putting chemicals in the milk they give them to wash out the pepper spray. Also people would poison the water they would hand out to protesters (thank you grapejuicebabeh)

-Some Americans have gone blind because of the tear gas and being shot in the face with rubber bullets

-Some have even gotten fatal injuries from rubber bullets and tear gas

-Our president was found out by having rape charges against him (mind you he raped 13 year old girls) and people still want to vote for him

-Donald Trump hasn't even talked about the murder of George Floyd

-There has been over 6 lynchings in the United States (lynching means unlawful hanging of a person with no trail)

-Donald Trump has announced at his briefing that he is allowing civilians and military use actual bullets on protesters to stop the violence (if you live in the United States like me, please make sure your doors are closed and locked, windows are locked, and be aware of your surroundings)

-There have been more amber alerts across the country (amber alerts are alerts people get for missing children)

-Sex trafficking and kidnappings have been at an all-time high because offenders are taking protesters (if you do protest be aware of your surroundings, look under your car to make sure that no one is hiding under your car because they can cut your ankles and take you and your car. If you see anything in your window shield or around the side mirrors, don't take time to look at it, get in your car immediately and drive off quickly)

-In Wisconsin (my state) there was a shooting and a 17 year old from Illinois went to Kenosha, Wisconsin and shot people. Two people have been killed from this shooting and the police turned the other cheek and let him do it.

-In the southern states (Louisiana, Texas, and other states) are currently experiencing a level 4 hurricane and they have an unsurvivable storm surge. (If you are in any of those states currently my prayers go out to you) 

The United States has always put out false information about how "great" our country is.

We still have flaws like every other country. The United States is always quiet about its problems. We have always had a corrupt government, bad education systems, and a corrupted justice system.

Here are some examples of the people who have died from police brutality.

George Floyd (46) May 25, 2020
Died from a police officer putting his knee on his neck. He lost oxygen and had blood loss to the brain resulting to his death. The police officer was on his neck for 7 minutes as George said "I can't breathe". His official death was cardiac arrest (thank you GOSHDIDDILYDARN)

Ahmaud Arbery (25) Feb. 23, 2020
Died from two fatal gunshot wounds. He was chased down by two white supremacists, one who used to be a cop. He was jogging and the two people felt suspicious about him. They chased him down and they fought him. One of the grabbed their gun and shot him in the stomach twice. This was all on video.

Tamir Rice (12) Nov. 22 2014
Died from fatal gunshot wound. He was playing cops and robbers. He had a BB gun and police came by from a 911 call. They thought it was real and shot the boy two times.

Breonna Taylor (26) March 13, 2020
She was a police officer who was asleep at home. Police officers raided her home for a drug search. They didn't know they had the wrong place and went into her room and shots were fired. She died from those gunshots.

Eric Garner (43) July 17, 2014
He had altercations with the police before for selling cigarettes without state tax. The police went after him this time. He tried to run away but the police officers caught up to him. They put him in a chokehold and they wouldn't let go of him. He said "I can't breathe" he died minutes later. His cause of death was from asthma which was caused from the lack of oxygen to his lungs from the police officer holding him in a chokehold.

There are many more cases. By many more, I mean 500+ more cases. Most of the police officers that kill people of color don't even get held accountable. These are just a few of the cases of police brutality.

There are also cases of people murdering people who are part of the LGBTQ community. The government is trying to take away trans people's rights to health care. They are trying not to let people who are in same-sex relationships be able to adopt children.

ICE (U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has put immigrants in awful living conditions. They would sit in the same room and not be able to move around. They officers have raped, beaten, and even murder people who were caught from ICE. They even put kids into cages. Everything they are doing there is illegal under the eyes of the law, but they never get held accountable for their actions. I forgot to add that they "lost" 1,000 children twice. When I say "lost" they were actually put into sex trafficking. Those kids still have no justice still are still inside of those sex trafficking rings.

I know some people are going to say at least your able to do this or that. I know I'm privileged to live in the United States and I do know that there are problems with other countries. I'm sorry that's happening to you, I really am. No one should be under a corrupt government, no one deserves to be silenced, no one deserves to be treated unequally. I hear you and I see you. I would never want to downplay your problems.

I just want to share what's happening in my country at the moment. Our media keeps putting out propaganda about the protests, but they won't shed light on what's actually happening.
