Hey people it's been a bit I know. I feel awful mentally like I'm beating myself up right now but it's okay cuz I feel better for just getting something out 💖

Ships: Soviet x Afghanistan, Soviet x America (a little if u can see it)

Warnings: deals with the Chernobyl disaster

Info: Aging will be weird, they will age if an event happens in their country

Soviet's point of view

"Fuck!"

There was a searing pain in my chest. My wife jumped up in suprise and put her hand on my shoulder.

"What's wrong Soviet?! What happened?" I growled as I put my hand over my chest.

"I don't know! Look at the map!" she nodded her head quickly and ran out of bed.

I curled up and breathed through my teeth. I looked at the time and it was 1:23 am. I could feel pain go all across my body. I closed my eyes shut just to try and handle it.

I heard Afghanistan sit back on the bed. I heard her open the map and she gasped. Is it that bad? I groaned and sat up.

"Let me see." she looked at me then nodded.

She handed me the map and I looked down at it. I sighed and clenched my chest with my hand. There was an explosion in Pripyat, Ukraine. Looks like it was a nuclear power plant that exploded. Why the hell is it hurting this bad?

My wife turned to me and grabbed my hand. I looked at her and put the map aside.

"What are you going to do?" the pain was starting to go away a little bit but it was still there.

"I don't know, but I don't want anyone hearing about this, got it?" she nodded her head.

"But you need to tell someone when it starts getting too bad, okay?" I nodded.

"Okay."

48 hours later

I can't do this anymore, it hurts too much. I had my knuckles squeezed, my hands were bleeding from my nails going too far into the skin.

"Afghanistan!" I heard her heels hit the floor.

She appeared in the doorway of our room. She had her hand over her mouth. She has never seen me cry before so she knew I was in great pain.

"Call an ambulance." everything around me started to go dark.

The last thing I heard was Afghanistan calling the kids.

America's point of view

Ring! Ring!

Ring! Ring!

I popped up from out of my seat. I rubbed my eyes and looked around me. Papers were all over my desk. Must have been working too hard.

I looked at the phone and picked it up. Who would be calling me this early in the morning?

"Hello?"

"America, I need you to come to the hospital." It's United Nations.

I yawned and stood up.

"Why do I need to? And why call me so early in the morning?"

"Just get here and I'll explain everything to you. We're at the central hospital, hurry up." with that the line disconnected.
