Kija wondered why Himari's hair was the color of fresh honey. He wondered why her hair was always tangled and untamed. He wondered why her hair seemed to change colors in the light.

But even more so, he wondered why her hair was beginning to look more orange than before and why her speed suddenly increased.

Perhaps the general's daughter had gone through intense training recently or maybe it was just natural speed. Maybe he was just realizing how fast she was now.

But that seemed unlikely. After all, humans tended to take ages to improve their skills, much longer than dragons.

But then a thought crossed his mind.

Dragons? Was Himari Lee a dragon?

Kija chuckled to himself. That was impossible. There were only four dragons in the legend, and Himari was just an adopted general's daughter who couldn't get over King Il's death. Nothing more, nothing less. She didn't even have the strength to become a dragon, and she wasn't related to a dragon. If anyone was a dragon, it would be Hak.

So she wasn't a dragon warrior.

Definitely not.

"We bring water, everyone!" Yona exclaims, staring at a brand new village. It was much worse than Katan Village. There were worn-out houses and sick villagers with empty eyes.

"Princess... this place is..." Tae-jun stares at the village in shock. He had never seen such a place before.

"Water..." a villager desperately holds out his hand, hoping Yona will give him water, and she does. The princess holds a small bottle full of water up to the villager's mouth.

The injured man tips the bottle and quickly drinks the liquid. It was as if it was his first drink today, and it probably was.

I push my orange hair out of my face before looking over at Yoon, who boils water in a metal pot.

"Villages like this aren't uncommon in the Fire Tribe. There's no clean water, and disease is rampant. Their houses are raided by bandits and even officials stopped dropping by. It's a dangerous place, so merchants don't carelessly stick around either." Yoon says, adding carrots and other various vegetables to the pot.

"The Princess... is she all right with that? Getting close to the diseased?" Tae-jun asks.

"I'm being careful about that but Yona won't listen no matter what I say to her," Yoon responds. He was obviously annoyed at Tae-jun's stupid questions.

"Won't listen? She's in danger, isn't she?!"

"The princess won't stop." I sigh, watching Hak slice meat slowly.

"She wants to protect the country his majesty Il tried to." Hak states. I flinch at the king's name. I should be over Soo-won's murder, but it's hard to forget what he did.
