"I-I'm..." Hoseok couldn't bring himself to speak. He regarded Yoongi with a unexplainable expression. Was it guilt? Or anger? Or horror, terror, maybe?

Yoongi coughed and gasped for breath, finally regaining his breath as he heaved loudly.

He got off the floor and looked at Hoseok with wide eyes and a fear induced expression. The boy was terrified. His hands slowly touched his own neck as he caressed the area where Hoseok almost strangled him.

Yoongi moved a step back, his arms wrapped around himself in protection.

"Min, I-" Hoseok couldn't find words.

Yoongi just backed away from him, his mouth open in trauma as his back bumped the wall.

"Min, can we go in the room?" Hoseok asked softly, desperation in his eyes. "Please." He added.

Yoongi didn't respond. He kept staring at Hoseok. He almost fucking died.

Yoongi closed his eyes, the feeling of his esophagus being crushed as his breath drained out of his body filling the empty space in his mind. Yoongi opened his eyes and let out a shaky breath.

Yoongi was hit by the fact yet again, that he was in the custody of a kidnapper. A murderous, psychotic kidnapper, who wouldn't hesitate to strip his life away from him.

One thing haunted Yoongi in his mind, however. When Hoseok was about to kill him, Yoongi had almost given up. He had almost given up trying to protest against Hoseok's hand. He had almost given up trying to fight for his life. This scared him.

Yoongi didn't like this, he just wanted to be back home. For the thousandth time that week, Yoongi felt wetness gathering in the corners of his eyes and threatening to fall down his cheek and onto the floor.

Hoseok couldn't deny the fact that he felt a little guilty. Since wall the time he had known Yoongi, he had seemed like a good person overall. Ignoring the fact that he was a stubborn, annoying, whiny asshole, Hoseok thought Yoongi had a good soul.

What the fuck, Hoseok? Don't think about your victims, just get the fucking job done.

However a small part of him was still drowning with guilt.

"Min." Hoseok stepped towards Yoongi, the blond male visibly flinching and letting out a dry sob as he covered his face.

"Min let's go back inside, hmm?" Hoseok softly asked.

Hoseok slowly reached out towards Yoongi and gently grabbed his shoulder, Yoongi looked up at Hoseok with puffy, frightened eyes.

Yoongi looked so vulnerable. Hoseok knew he acted like a tough, badass guy outside but Yoongi's insides were softer than he thought. And in a way it hurt him too.

What is happening? I've never felt like this before...

"Please come with me, Yoongi." Hoseok put a hand under his chin and softly tilted his head upwards.

Yoongi sniffled, which Hoseok took as a 'yes' and led Yoongi towards their hotel room.

On the way there however, Yoongi noticed that the dead body of the receptionist wasn't there. It was just... gone?

"Wh-where did he go?" Yoongi whispered to which Hoseok replied with:

"I left him in the janitor's room, so they wouldn't suspect anything from u- well, me." Hoseok was about to say 'us' but stopped himself because Yoongi hadn't killed the guy, it was Hoseok who had done that.

Hoseok led him towards the room and Yoongi sat in the bed, staring at the floor with furrowed eyebrows as he chewed on his bottom lip furiously.

There was a deep, uncomfortable silence hanging in the cold air around them. Hoseok clenched and unclenched his fists, it was the only thing his stupid mind told him to do in that silence.
