"Uh, where are you going?" Yoongi asked, breaking the silence suffocating the car.

He had noticed Hoseok was heading away from the city, and towards the suburban side. Yoongi's previous hurt, depression, hopelessness, was replaced by a wave of confusion washing over him like a wave.

"I- I don't know, Yoongi." Hoseok sighed, an answer Yoongi hadn't been expecting.

"What?"

"Look, I don't know. I just need some time to think, I don't now about what or why, but I just- I need this, okay." Hoseok spoke quietly.

This couldn't be the end, it just couldn't. How could all of this end with him reaching the warehouse, how could it end with his heart being torn to shreds? It wasn't fair.

So Hoseok had made his decision.

Despite everything having a terrible ending in every way, at least he would get to enjoy a little more time with his first love.

It was a greedy decision, of course. But Hoseok couldn't just get himself to do it.

He was a coward.

"Oh... uhm... okay." Yoongi didn't know what to think. Was it good that he wasn't going to leave Hoseok just yet, or was it just delaying the future?

And the rest of the drive was quiet. Nothing filled the air but the steady hum of the engine, and the occasional sniffles by Yoongi.

Hoseok pulled up towards a two-star hotel called "Voyage Hotel". The name obviously made so that it could look more aesthetically appealing to the eye. To the left of the hotel, there was a small convenience store with a bunch of koala cardboard cutouts to advertise it.

Hoseok silently turned the car's engine off, and gestured for Yoongi to get out the car. Still perplexed, Yoongi did just that and followed Hoseok as the younger made his way towards the convenience store.

Hoseok handed him a surgical mask to put on, and wore one himself so that nobody would recognize them.

He took Yoongi's hand, the elders cheeks flushing pink at the action, and walked inside the door with a little ding of the bell.

Hoseok led the flustered yet confused Yoongi towards the snacks section.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Oh, you're letting me..." Yoongi's live trailed off. "You want me to choose?"

"Go ahead."

"Oh." Yoongi didn't expect this, "Um..." He scanned the shelves for anything that caught his attention. Yoongi knew not to be too picky.

He glanced at Hoseok, and laughed nervously. Yoongi didn't know why Hoseok observing him with that look on his face made his insides twist and turn in a weirdly fluttery way. Or maybe he was just imagining things.

"Uh... I want that ice cream." Yoongi finally decided, pointing at a tub of vanilla flavored ice cream.

"'Kay. Anything else?" Hoseok asked, Yoongi finding his quiet, reserved behaviour quite odd.

"No." Yoongi responded.

"Okay then." Hoseok picked up two cups of instant noodles and two bottles of water. "Let's get out of here."

Hoseok's hand slid into Yoongi's and they walked to the counter, Hoseok paying for the items and leaving the store.

Yoongi's free hand slipped inside of his pocket, he clenched the keychain in his hand, the small item giving him an odd sense of comfort.

Hoseok and Yoongi walked, hand-in-hand, towards the Voyage Hotel. From the inside, it wasn't too fancy but good enough. At least it was better than the previous one, where Hoseok had been kicked in the balls by Yoongi.

He shuddered.

The two walked towards the receptionist, a tall woman in her mid-thirties and rather casual clothing.

"May I help you?" She asked, a tone of boredom being heard in her voice. As if she was sick of her job.

"We want a room." Hoseok said, "For the night."

Yoongi was surprised, they were in Seoul. Hoseok could've just completed his delivery and gotten rid of Yoongi for once and for all, but he hadn't?

Yoongi didn't know if he wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, or feel all weird and fluttery in his chest. His body decided to do both.

"That'll be about 32,000 won ($27 USD). Here's the key to room 34, should be on the second floor."

Hoseok handed her the money, cringing slightly at the deduction from his wallet.

"Enjoy your stay at the Voyage Hotel, where you never miss any sleep." She rambled like a robot.

"Thanks."

Hoseok took Yoongi's hands, he elder's heart leaping out of its chest from the nth time, as they took the elevator to the the second floor where room 34 was.

Hoseok unlocked the room, turning the lights on and setting the shopping bag on the kitchen counter.

The room had a comforting, yet modern feel to it. With a kitchen that was connected to the living room, and sleek dark wooden furniture, the place gave Yoongi a home-like vibe.

He made his way towards the bedroom, where there were two separate twin sized beds with a bedside table in between. Yoongi remembered how sleepy he was.

He looked at the beautiful night view of the glorious capital of South Korea, the bright lights and cars passing by on the streets, he let out a sigh.

Hoseok walked in the room, he stood beside Yoongi, the elder not noticing as he was too mesmerized by the city lights.

Hoseok stared at Yoongi's face with a small smile on his features, his pearly skin glowing in the captivating moonlight, his eyes reflecting the bright lights of Seoul. Hoseok felt a flutter in his heart, he didn't know what he would do when Yoongi would leave him. Was he even able to let him go?

Hoseok was snapped out of his thoughts when Yoongi caught him staring and backed away slightly, a blush on his cheeks. Hoseok was sure it was his mind playing tricks on him.

"Uh... here." Hoseok handed him the cup of instant noodles he had prepared for Yoongi and himself.

"Thanks." Yoongi replied, taking the cup and the plastic chopsticks that came along with it. He picked up some noodles with the chopsticks, and filled his mouth.

Hoseok started munching down his own noodles, the two boys eating in silence as the milky moon's rays illuminated their faces in the dark room. The lights in the living room were on, but the bedroom was unlit.

Yoongi felt peculiarly at peace like this. Next to Hoseok, looking at the city's view in the night, chowing down the cheaply made but nonetheless good noodles.

He now realized how lonely he had been at the mansion. Sure, he had Seokjin but it just wasn't the same. As stupid as it sounded, Yoongi wanted to stay like this with someone like Hoseok, forever.

Yoongi realized how much Hoseok had added to his dull life. His dull, boring life at home. All the excitement, and adrenaline Hoseok probably faced everyday... It was much more than Yoongi's entire life.

He looked at Hoseok, whose brown eyes met his own. They stayed like that for a few seconds, each other's reflecting orbs staring into each other's.

And that was when Yoongi realized, he had Stockholm's Syndrome-

No, not just that.

He realized...

He fell in love with his kidnapper.
