I was nearly drowning in the dullness and emptiness of the paper in front of me. I was staring at the blank paper sheet with the quill in my hand but I wasn't moving and the ink was already dripping.
Until a paper crushed my thoughts, my little brother picked it up and flew it with faded good-byes. A smile crossed my lips.
__________
In a few minutes, I folded the paper into certain angles precisely, neatly into a paper plane.
I stood up, took my stance and threw the plane. It flew across the room out from the open window into the outside world.
I hurriedly follow my plane out to our lawn and our gate, passing through every tree, buildings, busy people, street vendors, parks, city lights, traffic beams and all into a complete daze, I lost my plane.
__________
I started to take a stroll in one of the parks here in the city, finally giving up the search of my plane.
It was very rare of me to go outside, I was comfortable, too comfortable inside the four corners of my room or under our roof.
I love the peace and security it gives me than the loud and the peril outside.
And everyone seems to be on fast forward.
I can't help but sigh, I decided to sit down on one of the benches.
A gust of wind threw my auburn hair off, I struggled to keep them down.
And there I saw my paper plane, across a few benches away, in the hands of someone.
He face me with his deep, scrutinizing brown eyes, I nearly choked when I saw how messy his jet black hair was.
I stared back at him, unsure, but I was surprised when he smiled at me, a smiled so contagious and as pure I couldn't help but smile back.

I wanted to write everything I wanted to say but the blank paper sheet stayed empty.
But it turned to be something else, something I never expected to actually help me find,
Maybe the greatest story I could ever write or tell.
Something so small could actually make something so big
and something so small as of a paper plane can actually change my life.
