Lorena was in the middle of applying her makeup, wishing there was a way to rid of some of the acne on her cheek and chin. Her hair was wrapped up in a beautiful bun, with some of the hair pulled out and displayed across her cheeks. Tyler was to be arriving in a few minutes. Completing the soft glam look, and doing some last minute fixes, she eyed her herself in the mirror. She will admit it; she looks great.
"Lorena, Tyler is downstairs waiting." Her mother knocked. "Okay, I'll be right out." She replied. Quickly cleaning up her mess in the bathroom, there was a screech, groan, and the sounds of glass. She tended up for a moment, startled by the sound. Assuming it was Tyler, she called out, but received no response. As Lorena shut off the bathroom light and exited, there was no one in the room. She did take notice of her desk shifted differently and a picture frame broken. That was it. Nothing else seemed out of place.
Shaking her head, she just decided to clean the mess later and grab her purse and ticket before shutting off the bedroom light. Maybe she just imagined it. But it made no sense. How did the desk move by itself?

While dancing to the Cupid Shuffle, Lorena was allowing herself to loosen up a bit. It has been hectic for the past few months and she wanted to enjoy this time. As the song came to an end, another upbeat song played, and Tyler and Lorena decided to go outside for some fresh air.
"My feet are killing me!" Lorena whines as she removed her shoes sitting down on the bench outside the school gymnasium. Tyler chuckled as he tried to rubbing her bare feet to release some of the tension.
"Wow, I gotta get me one of these." Kathy laughed as she motioned to Tyler. Lorena chuckled, not frankly liking the way Kathy looked at him. She felt quite odd but didn't think too much of it. Heading back inside, they served themselves a plate of food and ate and laughed as they told jokes. A song came on, the tone and beat slow. Calling for all the couples to come out, Lorena sat up and followed Tyler to the dance floor.
Lorena wrapped her arms around Tyler's neck, whilst his hands were placed firmly on her waist. They two slowly swayed to the beat, Lorena inhaling the musky and sexy scent of Tyler's cologne. In the middle of the dance, she shuddered, the feeling traveling up her spine. She couldn't tell whether it was from being cold, or maybe the dreadful feeling she had when it came to only her shooter. It was a significant feeling. Tyler noticed how tense Lorena became and her trembling. "Hey, are you alright?"
"Y-yeah, I think..." Tyler didn't spend a moment more and took her by the hand, directing her out of the school gymnasium. Sitting on a bench, Lorena felt as if she couldn't breathe. Maybe it was the sensory overload. As Tyler soother and relaxed her she looked around the courtyard. Some administrations and police guards were waking around and some students talking amongst themselves, others taking photos.
She caught of a man, his aura oozing nothing but suspiciousness. He wore a simple business outfit, eyeing all the students, as he walked around the courtyard. She assumed he was a new transfer teacher although she hadn't heard anything about a new teacher. He seemed like any regular man; somewhat familiar. There were some features that stood out, but when she saw his eyes, something in her snapped.
Her breathing quickened and she felt herself fish and grow faint. Her body shook with tremors and screams, as Tyler began calling out for help and trying to calm his girlfriend. Lorena attempted to utter words but couldn't voice them. The mysterious man turned away and disappeared within seconds.
"Ty, he's here! He's here!"
