Chapter 3

*After School*

I have an appointment with Doctor Gordon...about my legs of course so I just went to the hospital." Ms Asher, Doctor Gordon is ready to meet you now" said the nurse.

I walked into the room and Doctor Gordon said "Hello Shayna, how are things going now? Is still hurting?", I said "No, I'm fine but it kind of hurts a bit if I try to do some stretching...this is normal right?" he just replied "That's totally normal, you can't put too much pressure on your leg okay..so you will be going to do some check-up with the nurse and if there's nothing concerning or bad then you will be good to go" I just nodded.

After the check-up, I decided to go to the mall so I text Shasha to join me 'Hey babe, I'm on my way to the mall so do you want to join me?' Then I just wandered around the mall and I saw Luke at a Men's Store.

 I waited for him to come out and I surprised him by saying 'OMG!! ARE YOU LUKE ANDREWS!" plus I hugged him like I'm his crazy admirer.

He just laughed at me and said: "Hey Shay, you know that you need to work more on your humour traits". I said, "Oh come on you are no fun...I thought you were supposed to be in London as the guest dancer in Nutcracker?? ".

"I finished earlier...I missed my girl" Luke said while giving me a sad face.

I grin and gave him a peck on the cheek ." Seriously on the cheek?? That is my 'welcome back home' present?" he said. I laughed and dragged him by the arms.

We both went to Starbucks to catch up with each other then I got a text from Shasha 'Sorry girl, just woke up hehe...so why don't you just come to my house?' I replied 'Sure thing...I will be there in a few hours... just hanging out with Luke'

"Who are you texting, babe?" asked Luke. "Just Shasha... So how was the show in London?" I said. Luke told me about his dance in London. To be honest, hearing his story makes me miss dancing, but it is also making me happy to see Luke's career starting to become successful as a dancer. We both got caught up in our talk until I realized it was already late evening.

"I should go now...I told Shasha that I am going to hang out at her house." I said.

"Okay. Let me drive you there... I won't take no for an answer, Shay" said Luke. Then, we both went to his car and left the mall.

It takes less than 10 minutes to arrive at Shasha's house. I thanked Luke for driving me there and gave him a kiss.. this time on the lips. I pulled away from the kiss and he was grinning at me.

"Now that is a kiss," said him

"Shut up, I love you," I said, grinning back

"I love you too"

Shasha's mother let me inside the house, then I went to Shasha's bedroom and I found her sleeping on the bed with a book on her face. I chuckled and put the book aside, I didn't want to wake her up so I decided to finish my homework.

Then, I got a text from Luke.

" Hello, Miss Shayna Asher. Congrats, you just won a date with the famous dancer Luke Andrews for tomorrow evening."

"WOW REALLY?? I AM SO LUCKY THESE DAYS. But I need to check my schedule if I'm free tomorrow evening."

"Very well then, the dress code is going to be fancy and formal."

" Luke, you know that you don't have to take me to a fancy restaurant for our date."

" I am willing to do anything for you, beautiful."

" I will pick you up at 7 pm tomorrow. xoxo love you"

"Alright, love you too."

Suddenly, Shasha said with a smirk on her face " well someone got a date huh". I was shocked by her sudden reaction. "I thought you were asleep??. Since when did you wake up?" I said.
