You are working on your new album at the studio when you manager calls for you.
He introduces you to a man who ends up changing your life in a way you never would have expected.
He closes his eyes but can't seem to fall asleep again.
He lies there for a few minutes until he gives in and gets up.
After a shower and some breakfast, he goes to his home studio and looks over his newest music projects.
He's been so busy helping her out that he's gotten behind on his own music.
Usually he would feel frustrated about it, but somehow this time, he doesn't mind it.
After about an hour and a half he checks the time again.
"It's almost 8, I should start heading to the studio" he thinks to himself while he looks over everything one more time before closing his composition software.
"That should be enough for now. "
When he get's to the studio, she's already there, singing her heart out like usual.
"Her silhouette looks quite stunning when she's like this" he thinks to himself, though that thought surprises him a little.
He knocks on the glass to get her attention.
Like always, she smiles brightly when she sees him, which also surprises him but he kind of likes it.
He takes a seat by the studio computer and brings up his composition and her lyrics for the album.
It's gotten a lot better and most of the songs are coming together nicely.
All that's missing is the title song.
The composition is ready on his end, all that's needed is a name and the lyrics.
But she never seems to be satisfied with what she writes.
The trash is almost full to the brim with sheets of paper she has thrown away.
She takes a seat next to him and you go over a few points, she listens to every word he has to say and always looks super serious.
He finds it very endearing.
She decides to listen to the song again in hopes of getting at least some lyrics down.
She puts her headphones on and takes a seat on the couch.
He keeps working on the computer and after making small tweaks here and there, he looks back at her.
She has her back turned to him, her hair tied up in a ponytail.
He feels a sudden urge to touch it, it looks so soft.
He starts to stretch his hand towards her but stops himself fast.
"What the hell am I doing" he thinks to himself.
He's a bit startled by his own actions but pulls himself together pretty fast.
He goes back to tweaking and composing and before you both know it hours have passed.
He's so immersed in what he's doing that he's quite startled when someone suddenly pokes him in the cheek.
He looks to the side and she's standing there smirking at him.
"I've brought refreshments" she says and holds up a bag full of food.
A break would be a good idea so he gets up, then you head to the kitchen together.
You chat while eating, throwing ideas back and forth and even though she's smiling he can tell she's still frustrated.
He decides not to say anything about it this time.
After the break you head back to the studio, he sits back down at the computer and she on the couch.
A few minutes later he hears her humming to one of his older songs.
A soft smile forms on his face, for some reason hearing it relaxes him.
An hour goes by, then two.
When he finally looks up from the computer he realizes that it's really quiet.
He turns around and what he sees makes him laugh.
She must have gotten to comfortable, cause now she is fast asleep on the couch.
She even has the headphones still on.
Instead of waking her up and just suggest they go home for the day, he gets up, takes her headphones of slowly and puts a blanket over her.
Then he sits down and goes back to work.
Who would have thought that he would rather be here than at home.
Hearing her breathing softly behind him makes him smile.
Something about having her around makes it easier to focus on work.
Two more hours go by and before he knows it, he has fallen asleep in his chair.
