Studio Romance

Part 12

When you both get to the studio the first thing you do is start prepping the recording studio.

You can finally start recording the title track.

There will be a few separate rehearsals and then it's go time.

You find yourself getting both nervous and excited.

This is the last track.

When this recording is over, the album will finally be ready.

You start feeling a little nostalgic, looking back at how it all started.

The lyric blockage, the frustration that followed it, all the sleepless nights.

Yoongi being hired.

You probably would not have gotten this far without him.

Tho, Yoongi showing up ended up being way more of a blessing than you could have ever imagined.

You want everything to be perfect, so you probably spend a few to many hours prepping and rehearsing.

But finally it is time.

You can feel your heart beating faster, this is it.

Everything you have worked so hard for is about to be finalized.

You go over things one last time.

Then both of you walk behind the glass, put your headphones on and position yourselves behind your mics.

You smile warmly at each other and he reaches out for your hand.

When the music starts you both close your eyes.

It's like you are perfectly in sync, every word hitting the right note, the beat flowing through you like you were breathing it like air.

He squeezes your hand while singing some words and it feels like electricity is rushing through your whole body.

After quite a few takes, you manager suggests you take a break and eat before you keep going.

You were getting a kind of hungry so you welcome a break.

Your manager had already went and bought some food for you so you head straight to the kitchen.

You talk about the song and what you've already recorded while you eat.

You don't know why, but for some reason he looks extra handsome right now.

You can't help but stare.

When he notices he gives you a quizzical look.

"Do I have something on my face" he asks.

You laugh, "No it's nothing like that. You just look really handsome today" you answer.

Your answer makes him blush, which makes you smile.

He tries to hide his embarrassed face, which makes you laugh again.

It's such a simple exchange but it makes you incredibly happy.

After about an hour break you head back to finish recording.

Everything goes smoothly and before the day ends, you have finished.

Now all that's left is in the hands of the audio editors and the production team.

You can hardly believe it.

"We finished it, it's really finished" you say to him with a bright smile and a relieved tone in your voice.

He smiles at you fondly, he really loves seeing you this happy.

He offers to drive you home and of course you accept.

When you arrive at your home, instead of saying goodbye in the car, he wants to walk you to your door.

The warmth from his hand always relaxes you.

When you get to you door, he looks at you and says "I wan't to take you out. On a real date this time".

You smile happily, "That sounds wonderful" you answer.

He refuses to tell you where he is going to take you, he only tells you the day. You pout cutely but he won't fall for it.

"It's a surprise" he says.

He pulls you close and you lose yourselves in a sweet goodnight kiss.
