Studio Romance

Part 9

It's been a few days since the amusement park visit and you have basically finished the lyrics to the title track.

But there was another change that you had made that you had yet to tell Yoongi about.

Now, you want it to be a duet. With you and him.

The closer you get to finish recording the other songs, the more nervous you get.

You know you have to show him the lyrics, but what are you gonna say?

How are you gonna say it? What is he gonna say?

Are your feelings going to come through right?

You are at the studio, finishing up recording for the day.

You head over to your managers office, bringing your lyrics with you.

You want him to see and critique then before Yoongi gets to

 You knock on his door and walk in.

He's sitting at his desk working.

You've known your manager for years and you are very happy that you met him.

On the other hand you are 100% sure that he will see through your lyrics, so as you sit down and hand him the lyrics, you feel your hands sweating.

For what feels like eternity you both sit in silence while he looks over the lyrics.

You can feel your heartbeat rising while thinking to yourself "oh god I hope he approves".

Finally he looks up, first really serious, then a smile forms on his face and he says "They are great".

You smile triumphantly until his face turn serious and he asks you "Is this song about Yoongi?".

Your hands start sweating again even more this time, but you nod your head. 

Then you start telling him everything.

About your feelings, your thoughts behind the song, everything.

He doesn't say anything, just listens.

After you finish your explanation he thinks for a minute.

Then he looks at you smiling and says "I'm rooting for you".

After talking about the lyrics a little more you leave his office feeling relieved.

That is, until you remember that now, you have to show them to Yoongi.

Showing him was always the plan, it's not like you can not show him.

But how? You don't want to just hand it to him, you want to do it in a way that really makes an impact.

While thinking really hard about your situation, you walk past the recording studio.

You hear that sexy raspy voice that you have come to love.

You peak inside and see Yoongi and your heart melts.

He's been recording his own songs here lately and you love it.

While watching him a great idea pops into your head.

"I'll sing it for him" you say to yourself.

You smile and run back to your managers office.

You almost burst though the door in excitement.

Startled, you manager looks at you wide eyed.

You sit down and tell him about your idea.
