Studio Romance

Part 10

First your eyes go wide then you close them slowly, fully embracing the kiss.

He moves one hand slowly from your cheeks down to your back, then he pulls you in closer without ever letting go of your lips.

Your hands go from being frozen at your side to locking around his neck.

Neither of you willing to end the kiss just yet.

Your heart it pounding in your chest and the butterflies in your stomach are on over load.

"Is this really happening?".

When the kiss finally ends, you look down trying to catch your breath.

When you look up again your eyes meet his.

He's looking at you lovingly, with a soft warm smile.

You feel like you could faint and your knees go weak but he's got a strong hold on you.

It feels like time has stopped, and you just stand there looking at each other.

You finally snap out of it when your manager knocks on the glass, you had almost forgotten you were still in the recording studio.

You both turn red and laugh.

He let's go of your back but instead grabs your hand and leads your out of the recording studio.

You are not sure what his intentions are, all you know is that you don't want to let go of his hand, so you hold it even tighter.

You walk in silence until you get to his office.

He leads you in and closes the door.

He sits you down on the couch and then he sits next to you.

You sit there awkwardly in silence both looking down at the floor.

Neither of you knowing how you should start a conversation.

Finally you look up and are about to say something when he puts a finger over your lips.

Then he looks you right in the eyes and says "Let me start".

He takes a deep breath and starts telling you how his last few days have been.

How he hasn't been able to stop thinking of you.

How he has been completely captivated in by your smile.

How spending time with you, even at work relaxes him.

How he's excited to go to work everyday because of you.

Your heart starts beating faster and faster with every word he says until you feel like you are about melt.

He pauses for a second and takes your hand in his.

Then with the sweetest smile you have ever seen, he says, " I love you".

You heart just about jumps out of your chest and you can feel tears starting to form in your eyes.

This is a happy feeling you have never felt before.

It's like it's consuming you and you can't help but tear up.

"I love you too" you say while trying to hold back the tears.

A bright smile forms on his face as he reaches out to you and wipes away a tear.

He then strokes your cheek softly before leaning into a kiss.

After reveling in the cosmic bliss that are his lips, you feel like you have take a break to catch your breath.

You heart is still pounding in your chest and it's like everything around you is sparkling.

You smile happily to yourself.

With all the nervousness from earlier gone you all of a sudden feel really tired.

You decide to be bold and lie down on his lap.

He just smiles, locks his fingers with yours and starts stroking your hair.

Both of you just enjoying each others company.
