Beomgyu's POV

You ever have days where you just don't wanna look at anybody, not even the people closest to you because they piss you off?

Well, that doesn't happen often for me.

But today says otherwise.

Finally, it's my last day of sophomore year. For Soobin, it's his last day of junior year since he's a grade ahead of me.

Today, I entered school as fast as I'd like to exit. I was gonna say goodbye to all my teachers for the summer, and Soobin and I were gonna have a date after school. Keyword: were. That was until he told me that we had to reschedule because he needed to see his hyung for something.

This "hyung" guy who he wants to hang out with is named named Yeonjun. He's the same guy who Soobin was hanging out with last year on the day I wanted to make plans with him.

He's never introduced me to this Yeonjun guy, but apparently he goes to school in a different city that Soobin used to go to school in as well.

What if Yeonjun doesn't even exist?

Maybe he's using this "Yeonjun" guy as an excuse to not hang out with me.

If he doesn't wanna hang out with me then he could just tell me!

Okay, okay, I might be exaggerating.

But seriously, he seems oddly close to this hyung. But I have trust in him and I know that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

Third person POV

"So yeah, I'm strongly considering it." Soobin sighs.

He had to cancel his plans with Beomgyu today because something had been on his mind lately, and he doesn't want beomgyu to be the first one to know about it. Beomgyu would be upset if he found out so soon.

So instead, he went to one of his hyungs who goes to his old school, Yeonjun.

"Are you sure that's what you wanna do?" Yeonjun asks. "I mean, even though it's only temporary, going to the military is still a huge deal. You think you could handle it?"

"It'll be stressful, but of course I can." Soobin responds.

"What would your parents think? What about your boyfriend...?" Yeonjun hesitantly asks.

"Well I don't really give a shit about what my parents think, they refuse to help me with my college fees so i have to go to the military if I want a free education. But my boyfriend...I think...no, I KNOW he'll be upset. I'll only be able to spend my senior year with him and then that's it. Off to the military I go." He states bitterly.

Yeonjun runs his fingers through his bright yellow locks before speaking.

"Well I think you should talk to him eventually. I think you should start to occasionally bring up the military topic, see how he reacts, and find the right time to tell him." Yeonjun suggests.

"You're probably right hyung..." Soobin sighs.

Yeonjun walks up to him and throws an arm around his shoulder.
