Beomgyu had to say...things were...weird.
It's like life had gone back to the way it was before he knew Soobin.
He still went to school (And finally made it to senior year).
He was transferred to a new foster home, and was living with a woman who reminded him of his own mother. Her name was Choi Eunjung.
Coincidentally the woman had the same last name him. Her first name Eunjung, means "grace and affection".
The beautiful woman walked with grace in every step she took. Any room could instantly light up just at the mention of her name. Just like his mom.
She's loving, caring, and has a pure soul. Beomgyu being her only foster child, meant he received un divided attention and emotional support when he needed it. The woman genuinely cared for him. Just like his mom.
He could technically move out since he's a legal adult now, but he wanted to finish school first. Eunjung would let Beomgyu live with her for as long as he needs to. That's something his mom would've done.
Him and Taehyun still spent every second together.
Nothing was awkward between them, and they remained by each other's sides.
Furthermore, he still kept in contact with Soobin.
Through letters, and timed calls. It wasn't often that they got to speak, but they knew how each other were doing at the very least.
It wasn't as bad as he thought.
Despite that, he still misses his boyfriend.
He still misses his voice in person. He still misses his scent. He still misses his touch.
He wished that Soobin's familiar aura would be back with him soon. Especially since his birthday is in a few days.

"Kang Taehyung!" Beomgyu yells. He goes up to bother his best friend at his locker, nothing out of the ordinary.
"Yes hyung?" Taehyun states intentionally formal.
"I want hot chocolate."
Taehyun puts a book away and closes his locker.
"And you're telling me this for what reason?" He asks.
"I bought lunch for us yesterday. Since it's lunch break now I figured you'd be willing to make an appetizing purchase for the love of your life." He teases.
Taehyun sighs and rolls his eyes. "You're lucky i brought my wallet with me today."
