A/N:Please be kind this is my first SVU fanfic ever. I'm still learning the characters, I just recently got inspired to write this. Noah isn't gonna be in this story, I love his character, but the story can't work well in this. He might show up later in the story.

A young girl with earbuds slowly walked into the elevator, she got into the elevator and stood next to officers and detectives who got in as well. She stood next to many officers who chating about their day. She stopped her music and got out on Special Victims Unit floor. There were many people there that day. She worried that she chose the wrong day to come to find out what she wanted to know. She looked at the name her social worker who had worked on her case during her adoption process as a child. She walked into the door, a women walked up to her.

"Hi, what do you need?" The lady walked up to her with a welcoming smile. She wore a casual outfit for work, she saw her badge on her belt and figured that she was a detective that worked there.

"Umm......Do you know where I could find.....Olivia Benson." The girl looked around the floor at the detectives.

"I'm Sergeant Olivia Benson." Olivia looked at the nervous girl who looked at her with wide eyes. She reached out to shake the girls hand who just looked at her. So she put down her hand.

"I'm Lacey Sullivan, I was born February 14th, 1985. I was adopted the next day at the hospital. I think I'm your daughter." Lacey looked at Olivia, whose face softened. "If you need a DNA test...." Lacey fumbled over her words.

"You have his eyes." Olivia sighed taking the girl to her office."I knew you were her, I just didn't want to jump to a conclusion."

"My father?" Lacey eyes welled up with tears. "I have his eyes?"

"Yes, you look more like him than myself." She held the girls hand. "The blues eyes that people can recognize from anywhere."

"Benson. We have a case." Nick came in.

"Bring Fin and Rollins, Nick." Benson looked up. "I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Why did you come here to find me." Olivia looked at Lacey.

"I have a son Daniel Ryan Sullivan, he's almost two years old, and he has leukemia. Lacey pulled loose hair back out of her face.

"So you need your biological parents." Olivia looked up.

"My blood can't save my son." Lacey spoke up. "I knew you might not want to meet me. I just wanted to try for my son's sake." Lacey was almost in tears."My adoptive parents don't have the right blood either." Lacey paused. "My parents told me to find you guys, but my father was not listed on the birth certificate, it was only you."

"Of course, I will help." Olivia smiled. "Can I meet Daniel sometime?" Olivia asked."May, I ask. Is his father in the picture?" Olivia asked.

"His father doesn't want any kids. He gives child support, but that is the only help I get from him. His family and him gave blood to help. He cares, but not enough to be a parent to his son" Lacey weakly spoke up. "I put that money for Daniel for college." Lacey smiled again, but prouder. "And yes you can see him because you're his Nana." Lacey smiled. "Here is a picture of him, you can keep it." Lacey smiled handing over a picture that she had in her purse.

"I can't believe I'm a grandma already." Olivia laughed at handling a photo of her grandson. "I can give you your dad's name." Olivia stood up. "If that would help you and your son. Where is your son?" Olivia rambled on nervously to her daughter. "I'm gonna get a frame for this for my desk." Olivia held up the photo. "He is gonna get someone else to spoil him silly." Olivia smiled.

"He is with a friend,who lives in the city, who always wants me to go out so she can watch him. Are you married to my father?" Lacey asked hopefully.

"I'm not. He had a girlfriend at the time, who was also carrying his child at the time. We were both drunk when you were conceieved and we met at this police convention thing. He works in SVU as well, but a different station. I believe the girlfriend is now his wife. Her name is Kathy. I know because his and my unit sometimes team up together on cases. We both remember the night though, but we never talk about it though."

"What's his name then?"Lacey asked. "Why in the world didn't you want to mention that he had a child with you. I think he has the right to know about me." She asked calmly while crossing her arms.

"His name is Elliot Stabler." Olivia went to get some paper. "He has a huge family, you have a bunch of siblings." Olivia sighed. "I didn't want to mess that up. He does have the right to know, but I don't know how to tell him"

"Is he related to Maureen Stabler?" Lacey asked shocked about who her father was.

"Yes, that is his eldest daughter." Olivia looked confused and at the same time trying to make sure she had her information straight. "How do you know Maureen?"

"She....." Lacey started to speak before being interupted by a door and Rollins came in.
