It Takes Two

Ten Minutes Ago.....

A/N: thanks for reading this. This is where Olivia and Elliot reunite. Elliot will meet his daughter for the first time. If you have been watching the videos this one is from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. The girl is Laura Osnes(girl I picture as Lacey) and the guy is Santino Fontana(the actor of Hans from Disney's FROZEN.)

Ten minutes ago I saw you
I looked up when you came through the door.
My head started reeling,
You gave me the feeling
The room had no ceiling or floor.
Ten minutes ago I met you

...SUV...

Their eyes met each other on the other side of the desk, where nurses were working. He was waiting in the waiting chair with a boy and two girls.

Olivia just walked away to the destination, she originally set out for. She heard footsteps follow her, Olivia turned around to face Elliot. Elliot was surprised that she stopped so he almost ran into her.

"Olivia, what are you doing here?" Elliot who questioned.

"Ummmm." Olivia whispered."Why are you here." Olivia looked at him.

"Eli broke his arm, while climbing a tree." Elliot explained. "So why are you here?" He asked.

"Ihadadaughterandputhherupforadoption.Sherecentlymetmeandshehasasonhere."Olivia wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"You have a daughter Olivia?"Elliot smiled. "Can I meet her?" Elliot looked at her unknownly.

"I'll see. She is pretty upset her son has Leukemia." Olivia stated.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry." Elliot felt bad for Olivia and her daughter. She left to get her blood tested and marrow checked. She arrived back in the room where Daniel and Lacey were peacefully sleeping.

She sat on the couch and just thought what her life would have been if she kept her daughter.

...SUV...
Lacey woke up to the stirring of her son . She noticed Olivia was asleep, she got up to tend to her son. Lacey placed a tender kiss on the forehead that belonged to her son. She got him settled and asleep before she left the room.

She went to the waiting room and looked at her phone. She noticed she got calls from her parents and siblings asking how Danie was. She quickly called each person to update them.

She went to the hospital cafeteria to get some food.  Ordered a salad for herself and she also got a turkey sandwich for Olivia. She got some chips and fruit to go along with it their meals.  Lacey got water bottles for both of them.

Lacey froze when she saw Maureen, Kathleen, Lizzie, and Dickie at a table on the other side of the cafeteria. She saw Elliot Stabler join his children. How happy he looked.

She quickly got out of the cafeteria and got to the room. She handed Olivia the sanwich, fruit, chips, and bottled water. They ate in silence, until Lacey put down her fork from her salad.

"I saw him, my father, he looked so happy with his children. I think I will just mess everything up. He looked so happy....What he probably doesn't want another child...." I don't think I can ask him about saving my son. I bet he doesn't want to help." Lacey wept into her mother Olivia.

"Sweetheart, your father is a family man, so he will do anything to save his family. He will love you and his grandson. He would take a bullet for anyone of his kids including you." Olivia kissed Lacey's forehead.

"I want to meet him to get tested for Danie." Lacey explained while going to the crib to watch her son who was pretty wrapped up in the blankets he had on.

"I think he should hear it from me." Olivia stood up. Lacey nodded. Olivia had to confront her fear, but this was to save her grandson.

Olivia saw Elliot in his sons room giving him a drink. His wife was also in the room, she was smiling at something Eli had just said. Olivia saw the other kids join them. Elliot looked up and saw her. She tilted her head, and he told his family something and they nodded.

"Hey Elliot, I need to talk to you." Olivia weakly smiled.

"Yeah, what's up." Elliot leaned against a wall.

"In private." Olivia mentioned to him. Elliot nodded to find a consultation room. Once they found one, Elliot looked at her curiously. " You remember the police conference 30 years ago." Olivia looked out the window while she waited for a response.

"Yes, I remember it. I also remember what happened after. "Elliot sighed, looking at her.

"You remember I have a daughter." Olivia looked at him eyes began tear up.

"So are you saying she's mine? That night we had sex, you conceived a baby?" Elliot whispered.

"Yes, she is yours. I put her up for adoption, but her son needs blood and marrow to save his life. So can you and your family help out?" Olivia explained.

"Can I meet my daughter and grandson?" He looked at her.

"She wants to meet you." Olivia walked back with Elliot to their grandson's room.

Olivia opened the door to reveal Lacey holding a wide awake Daniel. Lacey and Elliot's matching eyes met. Lacey suddenly froze, they were all together.

"Hi , you know who I am, but I am Elliot, your dad." He sat down. Olivia grabbed her grandson from Lacey's hands. Lacey walked up to Elliot and gave him a hug.

"I'm Lacey Helene Sullivan, I'm 29. I was adopted to Henry and Jennifer Sullivan. I have 4 other siblings. Henry Jr is 23, Scott is 21, Camille is 17, and Tracy is 13. My adoptive parents were married and trying to have a baby, so they adopted me." Which she revealed to both of her parents

He just wrapped his arms around her and cried a little bit. "I'm sorry for missing out, you are a beautiful daughter." Elliot told her.

"Lace, you want to introduce your son to Elliot." Olivia handed the boy to his grandfather.

"This is Daniel Ryan Sullivan. He is 17 months." Letting her son cuddle into the chest of his grandfather.

"His father?" Elliot asked.

"Out of the picture, nice enough to pay for child support and help test for a match for Danie." Lacey explained. "My adoptive father, my brothers, and you would be his father figure." Playing with her sons hair.

"I want you to meet my family." Elliot hugged his grandson. "Meet my girls, my boys, and my wife." Elliot smiled.

Lacey felt so nervous, she quickly left the room.

"Was it something I said?" Elliot looked at Olivia.

"Maureen bullied her in high school." Olivia explained.

"Well that is gonna be a treat for Maureen. She is gonna feel bad. I feel bad that I wasn't there for Lacey." Elliot told Olivia.

"Well I have been trying to make up time I missed out with her."  Olivia smiled at the boy who cuddled into his grandfather's safe arms.
