A/N:I hope you like this chapter this is about Maureen and Lacey. I also I don't have any medical knowledge. Sorry that I am late on updating I got busy and sick and sorry again for being short. I am working on it.

Maureen glared at Lacey seeing Lacey with HER father made her super jealous. It was a couple of days since Maureen met her sister, the family had taken their blood to see if she was a match for her young nephew. Lacey picked up her snazzy Iphone 6, and talked to her mother. Lacey spoke up, "my son is here, Olivia brought him over." Lacey wasn't able to bring Daniel the other day because he was pretty cranky.

...Lacey...

Lacey went to the door, and the greatest smiled spread onto her face once she saw her son. The boy that made her so happy in life. "Hey guys meet Danie." She kissed her young child's head. Elliot went over and took the small child.

"Hey Dan the man." He kissed his grandson. The baby smiled when his grandfather took him into his arms. "Hey Danie, this is Eli." Placing Danie on the ground near Eli.

"Hey Danie, I'm Eli, your uncle." Danie smiled and began to crawl around the room while Eli followed him.

Kathleen and Lizzie cooed over Danie after meeting him for the first time. Lacey gave her son a saltine cracker to naw on. Danie nawed on the cracker and immediately saw Maureen standing off far away. He curiously crawled over to her and dropped his cracker. He gave Maureen a toothy smile. That is when Maureen's heart just melted. She just fell in love with the little nephew, she had.

"Daniel, you are a cutie pat tutti." Maureen picked up the boy. They baby fussed to be put down. "You don't like me." Maureen frowned.

"He is a mover, check out new objects and people." Lacey chuckled giving him his cracker. Danie started to cry, Lacey felt his head and he was starting to burn. "Danie, your gonna be okay." Danie got suddenly tired. "Hey Buddy, I love you." Lacey looked up at her dad who had his coat and winter wear on. She handed him off to Elliot who got Danie situated in his carseat while she put her coat on.

....KATHY.....

"Lacey, we will be meeting you at the hospital and I will call Olivia for you." Kathy kissed the girl's head as if she was her own. "Make sure Daniel is okay."

"Thank you." Lacey smiled.

"You're welcome. That is what family does." Kathy smiled as Lacey headed out the door.

Kathy picked up the phone to call Olivia. "Hello? This is Olivia?" Olivia picked up the phone.

"Hi Olivia, this is Kathy, I just wanted to let you know that Lacey and Elliot are taking Daniel to the hospital." Kathy explained to the other grandmother. "I'm guessing Mercy." Kathy told her.

"Thanks Kathy" Olivia hung up the phone.

"Kids lets get into the other car." Lizzie and Kathleen got into the back. Maureen sat in the front while Dickie got in the back with Eli and helped him buckle into the carseat.

...MERCY....ER....

Lacey had Daniel on her hip. "My son has a fever and lukemia." She told the nurse who took the child to available curtian. The nurse looked at Elliot. "Who is this?"

"My father, his grandfather." Lacey looked at Elliot.

The doctor on call walked in, a young female doctor who had a welcoming smile. "Look at this little baby. Not feelin so well..." The doctor looked at her file. "...Daniel?"

~Hour Later~

"I have looked at the tests." Doctor Brayson told them.

"We need some blood and marrow now." She told them. Olivia wasn't a match for the boy, so she was out.

"My family wants to help."Elliot told the doctor.

Maureen went under for the surgery. Lacey was gonna have to do something for her for helping save the boy's life. He was family. Maureen loved her family and would do anything to protect it
