2 DAYS LATER

Los Angeles, California

Mary's POV

Today I am going to meet up with my sisters Elizabeth and Gillian to see how they are doing since it's been a couple of weeks since we saw each other. Ever since Vincent came back we've been talking about moving to Italy and how it would be, he informed me if I were to leave the house that I would need a bodyguard wherever I go with River or by myself.

I'd have to learn how to use a gun and knife to defend myself if he wasn't there at all (which I'm totally fine with) And sometimes I have to prepare not to see him for days or weeks maybe, to be honest, I could care less I survived a year without him and I could do it again.

I pulled up to David and I coffee shop we bought last year on his 21st birthday. The whole thing had to be fixed on the inside and out in total it cost us about $30,000. And ever since it has been booming like crazy, everybody always coming here was thinking about opening a new one somewhere in New York or Seattle who knows. One thing they don't know is that David and I are the owners, we wanted to do an undercover boss phase before we revealed we were the owners.

"Where the fuck have you been," My older sister Gillian asked with a wondering look.

"Minding my goddamn business," I said sitting down they looked at me like I lost my mind.

"No, I'm messing around with you I've been taking care of River running the shop," I said truthfully and lying.

"Right, I completely understand making sure that little wigga straight for life," Lizzy said with a straight face. "Wigga, Lizzy are you serious where does that come from?" Gillian asked.

She looked at her stupidly, "Don't you look in the mirror every morning dummy, were the prettiest dark skinned black women you'll ever see, and Bear over here is basically the light skin Michael Jackson 2.0 just with no talent but beautiful as ever," She said nonchalantly.

Gilly and I looked at each other with squinted eyes as she just looked through the menu we just laughed at her she was so unfucking serious catching the looks of these 4 patrons in the shop.

"What the fuck are you looking at, divert your eyes before I snatch them bitches out." She said menacingly towards the girls they hurried up and looked the other way.

"So what have you ladies been up to lately," I asked looking over the menu.

"Nothing much just working on my shop, trying to get these wigs straight since some girl fucked the shit up and I have to re-order everything." Elizabeth said getting a little upset still looking at her menu.

Elizabeth always loved to do hair and makeup and tattoos since she was younger she used to practice my head when I turned 6 and she was 11 & other girls head in the neighborhood. I was happy when she decided to go to school for it, and once she did she opened her own hair/makeup shop that's been booming ever since. Then she's in the process of opening a tattoo shop.

"In her defense, the girl is young and just started and one of the other girls didn't properly train her so she messed up," Gilly stated drinking her lemon water.

"I hope you didn't cuss that girl out did you?" I asked she nodded "No, I didn't," She said with an attitude.

"Sure you didn't," I said sarcastically giggling.

"She was going to but I shut that down fast the other girls got cussed out by her, and I didn't like that she could've given them a warning so I defused the situation and made sure they didn't do it again and they apologized and everything went smoothly."
