The Kiss

As the Chef gives us our ramen I'm still in shock that Kakashi had feelings for me the whole time. Like wow I realllyyy couldn't take a hint? Now I just feel bad for him because I'm such an idiot.

I look up at Kakashi and realized he's blushing.

At this point, I'm not quite sure what to say. I never really liked Kakashi that way but he seems like a sweet and nice guy. And he has the bravery to confess his feelings?? I could never, NEVER.

While I'm still processing everything in my head I realize I'm still on a date with him and hes just sitting there. I should say something to break the ice before things get more awkward,

So.. Hows the food?

Really? 'how's the food' am I dumb? All I can think of?

"The food is good, wayy better than the ramen I make" Kakashi jokes to lift the air of the awkward tension. "How's your food?" He asks back

"I mean, the food is also pretty good but since I ordered my regular its not anything different." I then look at the clock on my phone and saw it was 9:02 PM.

Already 30 minutes passed?

I finish up my bowl as Kakashi looks in shock since he has just finished half of his bowl.

"Hm?" I said while the noodle broth is still on my chin.

"Oh nothing, just wondering how you finished so fast considering we just got our food."

"That's fast? Maybe you're just slow at eating ramen." I said jokingly. 

"Pfft I'm not slow, I was just taking my time." 

"Uhuh sure.."

Me and Kakashi just had usual casual convos while we had our 3rd and 4th bowls. That was when I checked the time and saw it was nearing to 11PM. Kakashi and I Split the bill and I asked him to drop me off at my house.

When Kakashi makes the turn to my house I get my stuff and get ready to get out his car. He opens the car door for me and walks with me up to my door making sure I'm safe.

"Hey, I had a pretty good night out with you." I said

Kakashi then pops the question that I knew he would ask, "Would you like to go on another..?" I have to give it to this guy, he really confessed his love for me, FOR ME.

"Sure, I would love to" After I say that I see him blush. When he's walking away I grab his arm and kiss him on the lips. His soft lips connect with mine. I pull away and watch his face go immediately red like a stop sign and then I felt the blood rush to my cheeks myself.

I waved him bye as he walked back to his car and drove off.
