I just stared at him with my eyes wide and my heart beating faster than usual. It feels like anytime now, it will burst out of my chest. Baekhyun looked at me painfully, still crying and breathing hard. He's waiting for me to say something.

"B-baek..." I started and swallowed hard. "Y-you know...you can't..."

"I know!" he exclaimed and wiped his face harshly with his hand. "I know I can't feel this way towards you! You are NOT human, right?" he sobbed and it nearly broke my heart.

He moved closer to me and stared at my face. "You're not human, right?" he breathed and his eyes are begging for me to say the right thing. And so I nodded, and swallowed the big lump in my throat. I'm near tears and I shouldn't cry in front of him!

"I'm not human." I muttered, staring at him in the eyes. "You can't fall for me, Byun Baekhyun."

He pursed his lips and nodded. Baekhyun then looked down as he wiped his face with his hands. I took that opportunity to breathe heavily and blink the tears away. I can't lie without my heart being crushed into a million pieces.

I'm so sorry, Baek. Please forgive me. I just don't want you to get hurt.

I love you more than you could ever know.

"Let's go home." he said and sniffed one last time. He looked at me and forced a small smile. "Forget everything I said, okay?"

I remained expressionless as I stared at his face. I nodded and didn't say anything.

"That's better," he muttered and pursed his lips. "For the first time, you eyes are emotionless," he said and smiled. But it's fake.

He held my hand and I slowly wrapped my fingers around his. It's too painful.

"Maybe I should call Xiumin to reboot you again," he muttered without looking at me. "Maybe we could erase all the memories of 30 minutes ago."

I nodded and looked forward. "As you wish," I answered in a serious tone. No affection. No love. No caring. And it hurts like hell.
