CHAPTER NINE ━ T-REX SHOWDOWN

CHAPTER NINE ━━━ t-rex showdown

Hazel could hear roars and gunshots from behind her as she ran in her combat boots. Hazel looked into the camera and nodded hoping Lowery would see she was ready and she was correct since the door started opening so Hazel quickly lit the flare. She could hear Rexy approaching the gate. "Rexy it's me, Hazel, I'm going to need you to do a small favour for me to follow this." Hazel wiggled the flare in the air while Rexy grunted as a response.

"You ready let's race but let me have a head start," Hazel told Rexy who once again grunted. Once Hazel was about five meters away Rexy started walking after her trainer that was running. Rexy let out a roar while chasing Hazel making the dirty-blonde laugh from the adrenaline pumping through her veins. Hazel ran through the spinosaurus skeleton and chucked the flare at the Indominus Rex making Rexy run to the Indominus Rex.

Hazel hit the ground hard as Rexy went through the spinosaurus' skeleton throwing it out of sight while giving a roar. Rexy looked down to see Hazel under her tail who had pleading eyes with Rexy making her grunt and roar once again at the Indominus Rex. Hazel caught the gaze of Owen making her smile sadly at him she couldn't keep a straight face around him while he looked at her with a terrified expression.

Hazel was watching the fight unfold in front of her as she crawled to something to cover her hearing the T-Rex roar in pain made her shut her eyes blinking away the tears as she leans against a decorative fountain. But she started crying seeing Claire, Zach, Gray, and Owen almost get eaten by the T-Rex. "Run!" Hazel screamed with the last she had of her voice tears rolling down her face seeing her so vulnerable made Owen want to go over there and show all his love for her but that would have to wait at the current situation at hand. They all luckily made it before the Indominus Rex made the T-Rex fall into the small store.

Hazel immediately searched for Owen's comfort while watching the showdown happen seeing the dinosaur that has saved her dying before her was a sight she hated to see. Hearing the pained roars Rexy shouted out made it even worse since you could tell she is fighting for her life. Owen's arms wrap around Hazel's figure protectively seeing her this distraught was horrible.

Just as the Indominus Rex held Rexy's neck down for one last time and was going to take a bite out of her neck a familiar screech was heard making Hazel cry out in happiness sobbing hard from all that has happened finding out Blue had survived and watched the dinosaur she has been forever great full too almost die but then Blue came to the rescue. Hazel smiled happily biting her lip trying to stop herself from crying. "Go Blue!" Hazel shouted with happiness watching the velociraptor bite at the Indominus Rex's back.

What took her by surprise was Rexy coming back immediately biting the Indominus Rex's neck just like she had done to her. Crashing her into a building getting rid of the lights from it and Blue jumping off of the Indominus Rex's back and went onto the T-Rex then back onto the Indominus. The five humans rushed into the store where they were greeted by Blue being flung into the store window but she quickly went back out there to get the Indominus Rex again. The T-Rex and Indominus Rex were causing chaos bashing into different buildings everywhere.

Blue and Rexy took the Indominus' head down and was flinging it everywhere but then the Indominus Rex threw Blue back out but Sadie was faster flipping the Indominus over by the mosasaur's enclosure but only taking down the fence. Just as the Indominus let out a roar the mosasaurus came out a chomped at her neck bringing her into the water to go under the sea.

"I knew you could do it, Rexy!" Hazel screamed proudly at Rexy running over to her while she bent her head so Hazel could caress her cheek and sores. "She got you good, huh?" Hazel asked making Rexy grunt. "But not as good as you did to her yes." Hazel giggled feeling nudging on her right arm she turned and saw Blue. "Oh come here." Hazel smiled at Blue making Blue let out an excited screech and trample her over.

"Okay then." Hazel breathed from the impact she expected her head to hit the road hard but she felt a pair of strong hands holding. "Be gentle Blue." Owen scolded Blue.

"It wasn't as bad as Rexy. Once she nocked me into her enclosure's wall I still remember the look she had on her face." Hazel remember while smiling. Rexy started to walk away from them.

"Where you going, Rex?" Hazel questioned still smiling and once Rexy responded her smile faltered. "Go and have fun. Don't be too wild treat Blue nicely she basically your step-sister now. I love you. Coming back soon okay?" Hazel waved at Rexy who just nodded and continued on her way across the island. As Blue was going to follow her she had a look shared with Owen. He shook his head not wanting to let her go but Hazel tugged at his arm and nodded at him making Blue run off looking which way Rexy went.

"I'm gonna miss them," Owen whispered in Hazel's ear as they watched Blue look for Rexy and finally go left. "Me too," Hazel told her head leaning on Owen's shoulder while holding his hand before turning to him.

Then Owen did something that shocked her completely his lips smashed against hers. Her eyes shut once she felt his lips met hers. Her one hand went onto his neck while the other was curling his hair with her fingers. She could still smell the gasoline from before lingering on him and she chose to ignore the chaos surrounded by them savouring the passionate kiss.

They only let go of each other to breathe. "That was amazing but you do remember dinosaurs are trying to kill us right?" Hazel asked in a teasing tone still holding Owen's neck while playing with his hair.

"And How is it that you always know how to ruin the best moments?" Owen questioned clutching her waist. "It's just my speciality." Hazel giggled biting her lip. "If you're going to keep on doing that lip-biting I don't know how I'll stop myself." Owen smiled looking into honey eyes.

"I like the sound of that." Hazel bit her lip once again leaning in but stopped herself. "But we do have to get out of here," Hazel told, her lips brushing against his own. She looked at where Rexy and Blue had been but she saw nothing. Hazel leaned onto Owen's shoulder squeezing his hand tightly. Knowing she was going to miss Jurassic World.
