"QUIRKLESS??" The class exclaim.
Izuku just nods.
"How did you toss the ball so far? How did you run so fast and jump so high??"
Izuku just shrugged. "It's just the way I am. I have no quirk, and my abilities differ from yours."
The explosive blonde just scoffed from his seat.
"So what else can you do?" A manly redhead asked.
Izuku thought for a second. "Well, I'm abnormally strong, fast and intelligent. I'm resistant to almost any toxin or poisons. I can withstand extreme temperatures, and any injuries I do receive heal slightly faster than a regular person."
"Dude, that's so manly!" The redhead exclaimed.
Izuku chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "It's pretty normal for me." He said.
Soon the first school day was over, and Izuku took the train home. He sat in his room and worked on his 1A notebook.
Anyone would think he was interested in history, and collected relics from past events or disasters. He had souvenirs from all over the world. His uniforms for the world wars, a life ring from the Titanic, a Roman helmet, a robe with Egyptian patterns, bones from a few extinct animals, a large collection of dinosaur teeth, a copy of the first photograph, pictures of famous figures.
Most of his souvenirs were in storage, but he kept his favourites in his room. His most recent were the signatures of 7 heroes. Some weren't official heroes, and he was missing the 8th, maybe 9th too, but through the years he had met and helped each one of the wielders of One For All. He had been chosen as a candidate by all 7, but as he wasn't human, he couldn't take the quirk.
He hadn't had the chance to meet All Might, or his successor (if he had chosen yet) but he hoped to meet and help them both. Because he'd found something. A new group was on the rise. The League of Villains. Their boss, the True leader, was none other than All for One. One for All's mortal enemy. He had foolishly believed him to be dead once All Might dealt that blow, but it wasn't enough. He had spent these last year's healing, gathering strength, and grooming Tomura Shigaraki to become his successor.
Izuku sighed as he completed his work, putting notebook number 246 on the shelves with the others. Currently he had every hero ever known compiled within his notebooks, including the secretive, hidden ones like Eraserhead. He was quite proud of his work, but only 17 of his notebooks were relevant today. 14 of heroes, 1 for 1A, one about One for All and the users, and one was stuffed with information about All for One and all the quirks Izuku knew of. He grabbed the last 2 books and put them in his bag for tomorrow. He decided to talk with All Might.
He switched on his laptop to resume his ongoing investigation. He was researching the Yakuza, namely the seven precepts of death lead by Overhaul, or Kai Chisaki. It was difficult to find anything on them, even for Izuku. He gave up after an hour or two with zero results and emailed Sir Nighteye.
Izuku had been working as an anonymous detective for many years. He had changed his alias and contact details throughout the centuries, and he had worked with many detectives, police chiefs and heroes who requested his help. Nighteye's investigation was the most difficult so far, as Chisaki was a very secretive, slippery man.
Yamikumo: Sorry Nighteye, little to report today. There are rumours of a 'small ghost' who is rarely seen running from their main establishment, but reports are inconsistent. That's all for today.
Nighteye: Very well Yamikumo, thank you for looking. Please message me if anything comes up. I will look into this 'ghost'.
