"Why do you always work in the school's library so early?" Regina questioned as Emma sat down on her bed.

The blonde shrugged and groaned. "Do we really need to talk about me?" She asked and Regina chuckled as she sat down beside Emma.

"I'm just curious, not many people go willingly to school earlier than necessary," she said and Emma poked Regina's shoulder.

"And there's your answer," Emma said and winked, because she knew Regina had to think about this for a moment.

"You're just so mysterious," Regina muttered and Emma lay down on her bed, with her feet still on the ground.

She chuckled softly as Regina imitated her and lay down next to her. They looked for at each other and both smiled as their eyes slowly drifted off to each other's lips.

"At least I don't suffer from mood swings," Emma said and her voice sounded hoarse as her eyes were glued on those plump lips.

Regina scoffed and turned her head to the ceiling. "That's true, but mean."

Emma bumped her shoulder softly and giggled. "You know I've forgiven you, right?" Emma asked and Regina turned her head back to Emma.

"Really?"

"Yeah.." Emma replied and nodded confirming. "Although, I still don't understand why."

"I'm not going to tell you the real reason, so I'll just come up with a nice story."

Emma laughed and her heart fluttered briefly as she saw the brunette's eyes sparkle. "If we're ever going to be real friends, we've got to stop hiding things from each other."

"You actually want to become friends?" Regina asked confused. "After how I treated you?"

"I already said I'd forgiven you."

"You're so kind," Regina replied and scooted closer to Emma. "And warm. It's quite cold here," she said and shivered.

Emma swallowed and chuckled nervously. She was used to the cold. She didn't want to spend a lot of money on heating the apartment and using electricity, so it was colder than in most people's houses.

"Sorry, I- my parents can't stand it if it's too warm in the house." Emma stood up and grabbed Regina's hand before she pulled her with her. Accidentally, she pulled Regina too roughly and their lips almost touched, causing both of them to be quiet for a second to look at each other's lips, before Regina stepped back and looked Emma in her eyes.

"Sorry," Emma softly apologized. "I didn't mean to pull you so close."

"It's alright," Regina replied and tucked a strand of raven hair behind her ear. "Like I said, you're warm," she said with a soft chuckle.

"You, uh.." Emma felt her hands becoming sweaty and she looked Regina in the eyes. "You look like you need a hug," Emma said and she pulled the woman in an embrace, before she could answer.

Emma tightly wrapped her arms around Regina and the girl started sobbing softly.

"Sorry," Regina muttered and relaxed as Emma's warm hands caressed her back.

"You don't have to apologize," Emma replied as she felt Regina bury her head in her neck and she started to cry louder. "Do you want to tell me what's bothering you?"

"No," Regina replied and sniffed and wrapped her arms around Emma as well. "But you're a real good hugger."

Emma held Regina for a moment, until the brunette wiped her tears away and pulled back.
