"What's the plan?" I asked curiously.

"I'm not sure yet. Luke is still working on our next move." Claudia said as her hands worked over my stomach.

My wounds opened up again during the fight yesterday so Claudia decided to disinfect them and patch it up again.

Ever since we got the note from the van, Luke has been busy and stressed out. He's sure that the address on the paper is where they're keeping Carmelo and Quin. We don't know if we should go and find them or not.

He said, "Of course it's a trap, but if we don't go, they could be killed. We need a plan that will guarantee success."

But with the way things have been going, the plan was bound to fail at some point or another.

I was still worried about Luke though. He's been so busy that we've hardly seen him since we arrived.

"All done." Claudia noted as she got up. "Rest and try not to move around too much. I'm not going to be there to stitch you up all the time, kid."

I nodded with a smile as I slowly sunk back into my sleeping back. The basement barely had anything in it, making everything echo and making it colder that it should be. Everyone was busy with their own thing and had their own space, meaning no one could bother anyone else.

Dylan was in his usual bitter mood as he walked past me on his way to wherever. He tried to ignore me, but I still noticed the slight increase of his pace as he git closer.

My eyelids closed as I tried to squeeze in a nap before chaos came knocking at our door again. My peace only lasted for aproximately 10 seconds before I heard the sound of shoes tapping on the floor. As the noise grew louder, I peered through one eyelid before actually paying attention.

As the person walked past me, I slowly got up, following them with my eyes. I couldn't tell who it was from the back, but I could tell it was a man. The man walked into a room at the far side of the basement and closed the door behind him. I got out of the sleeping bag, followed the man and knocked on the door before entering.

"Come in." A muffled voice said from behind the door.

I opened the door and walked in, keeping a straight face.

"Oh, hey Denise." He said.

"Hi Luke. What you up to?" I asked, noting the papers in his hand.

"Just some possible solutions to our dilemma." He said as he fiddled with the pages.

"Oh."

I looked around the small room and I noticed that the room was quite dull as the walls were beige with a single window. There were no posters or anything interesting, besides a work table and chair. The worst part? The chair couldn't even spin! It was just a plain old chair.

Luke quietly sat in the chair and slumped forwards onto the desk with his elbows. I watched as he looked at the papers and sighed. There were dark bags under his eyes and I didn't notice until now, but he his beard had started to grow. Before he was shaven clean and now he had blue patches around his mouth.
