I was surprised that we were even able to corner Bishop and lock his soldiers in another part of the building. How we did it, was a blur to me. I only remember myself running around, trying to catch the attention of the soldiers and running in the opposite direction again. I was never great at remembering details when it came to certain things, so no one would really bother to ask me.

The team, along with Maria's soldiers, were crowding the doorway as we watched Bishop stand like a lone wolf in his office. It was quite the mission to find him after we trapped his soldiers. Currently, they were behind the door to our right. There was a trip wire in front of the door, so if they managed to escape, they'd blow up into pieces.

"You okay there? You look a bit pale," Luke smirked at the coward in front of us.

In return, he scoffed. I watched carefully as he glanced around the room, possibly looking for a weapon or escape route. My hands were becoming sweaty for some reason, so I removed one hand from my gun and rubbed it off on my bulletproof vest. All eyes focused on me because while everyone else was still frozen, I ruined that by moving.

"Sorry, but he's taking too long to make a decision," I shrugged.

"You're right. Give a statement and we'll walk out of here like nothing happened," Luke said walking closer to Bishop.

Obviously it was a lie about leaving Bishop alone. The only thing that didn't make sense to me was that Luke wanted a statement from Bishop. He wanted Bishop to confess to his wrong doing and schemes, but why? We have enough evidence from the blueprints that we stole. All we had to do was shoot him, blow up the base and leave.

"Which we could've done a long time ago!" I yelled, accidentally saying my thoughts out loud. "Sorry, I interrupted."

Luke continued to ramble on and on until he was less than a meter in front of Bishop.

"No statement will be made. I'd rather die," he said proudly.

"Great then," Malaya fired at the man in front of us, but missed. She looked at Peter furiously because he lifted her arm, so she shot the ceiling.

"Not now," he whispered. Malaya rolled her eyes in response.

Luke and Bishop continued to bump heads, meanwhile everybody watched them boredly. For a while it looked like two brothers bickering about who took the remote. Nothing epic happened, but something felt off and the whole team could feel it. When Bishop mentioned Luke's daughter, an unnerving wave of shock washed over the team.

How did Bishop know about Luke's daughter?

He couldn't have got that from the files because the Navy never documented those type of things. And even if they did, they'd burn it after it had been used. I saw Admiral Johnson do it all the time. Once, after I got recruited for the Navy. Second, when I met the team in the conference room for the first time. Lastly, when we were assigned to this mission.

"Don't you ever mention her name! You think that you can just dissapear out of the blue and when I've finally forgotten about you, you show up in a villainous mood. No!" Luke was fuming as he looked at the other man with hate.
