They appeared in a run down room. Immediately Mink was running around. It looked like she was trying to find something. She stopped in the center of the room. She pushed away some debris. There was a circular indent. She put the orb in the indent. Suddenly the room began to fix itself.
The room transformed into a beautiful quartz color. There was a white desk like thing in the middle of the room that was connected to the floor. There was a map on one wall. There was a kitchen like area along with an area that seemed to be for relaxing.
"Hey Mink?" Aiden asked, "What is this place?" This same question was on everyone else's mind. They'd never seen it before. Mink turned away from the desk type area.
"Welcome, to the Base of the Alliance." Mink began looking around, like she knew the place. She walked into a hallway that seemed to lead to other rooms. Everyone followed her. She walked into a red room. It had a bed and a desk nearby. The desk had some paper and a pencil. She opened a drawer of the desk to see a notebook with a purple color.
"I'm back," She whispered, tears welling up in her eyes, "I'm finally back, River." Everyone else stood in doorway. They were really confused. Nobody said anything. Mink looked really happy to be here. Had she been here before? If so, when?
Aiden walked up to her and asked, "Hey, who's River?" Mink didn't say anything. Aiden shook her a little, then walked back over to where the others were.
"Let her have her moment, Aiden." Jack told him. Nathan and Leroy nodded in agreement. So they left the room and explored. There were three other rooms beside the one Mink was in. One was orange and had a little fox plush on the bed. One was green. It had a Pokeball on the desk. There were some scorch marks on the ground and wall. The last room was purple and was like the red one. Except there wasn't a notebook in the drawer of the desk.
"This is boring," Aiden whined, "we aren't doing anything." The others ignored him. True, they weren't doing anything, but maybe there was a reason they were here. They went back to the main area, and noticed a small tablet shaped device on the center area. It had four names under the list "Members" on it. One was white, while the others were faded. The names were: Riverlight, Angel, Black Goku Jr., and Mink.
Wait. Why was Mink's name on the list? She never told them she was a member. Why would she keep that from them? Should they ask her about it, or pretend that they didn't see anything.
"What're you looking at?" Mink had walked in the room while they were still staring at her name. They didn't answer. Was she gonna be mad at them? She stared at them for a while. Then shrugged and went to the kitchen.
"You guys are probably hungry." She started opening different cabinets looking for stuff to make a meal. She grabbed some salt and pepper and sat it down nearby. She then walked over to the fridge and grabbed some eggs, sausage, and some biscuits.
"I don't cook much," She began to say, "so bare with me." She grabbed a frying pan and went to turn the stove on. The others just watched her. She must have noticed, because she looked at them and said, "Are you guys ok?" Then she started to laugh.
Jack ended up going over to the living area. "Holy crap!" He yelled. This caused everyone to stare at him. It even caused Mink to drop some eggs on the ground.
"This better be important!"
"There's a Nintendo Switch!"
"You yelled 'Holy crap' for that?!" Mink was pretty mad. She started picking up some broken eggshells. Nathan went over to go help her clean up. Aiden and Leroy just started playing games with Jack.
