The group appeared in a cave. They saw a city close to the ocean nearby. There was something else as well. They saw the creatures of this world too. These creatures definitely weren't the same as the ones that inhabited the world Nathan, Jack and Aiden lived in. Almost instantly Nathan was able to figure out where they were.
"This looks like the world of Pokémon!" He stood at the entrance of the cave with a big smile on his face. He stared at the beautiful world they were in. He loved the Pokémon games. In fact, he'd played all of the games in the main series. This place however looked different from the regions he had traveled through in those games. Was this a world of one of the spin off games? Mink walked up to him.
"Welcome to the Ferrum region."
"Oh, so this is from Pokken Tournament!"
"So you know about this world."
"Yep, haven't play the game though. I didn't have the console."
"I've traveled here before. One of my friends took part in a tournament."
"Really?"
"Yeah, his partner was a Sceptile, he fought in it well." Mink told him. She had a small smile on her face that instantly faded within seconds. It seemed like this subject was something she wouldn't want to talk about anymore.
"Well, I can get new clothes here!"
"I guess so."
"Ok! Come on let's go!" Nathan began to run out into the field. But Mink yelled at him to come back. He slowly trudged back to the group. Mink had a serious look on her face.
"Not all of us can go."
"Why?"
"Leroy is from a different world."
"Yeah, so am I. All of us are."
"I know that, but he isn't human, or looks like one at least." Mink was serious about this. Had something like this happened before? Leroy sat down on a rock in the cave. He leaned up against the wall and said, "Fine, you four can go. I'll stay here." While that sounded like a good idea, Mink declined it.
"Someone should stay with you."
"I don't need a babysitter thank you very much!" Leroy said. Mink's opinion didn't change. Everyone looked at each other. Why would someone have to stay? Nathan started to leave again. This time Aiden had him stop. Nathan sighed and turned around to look at his friend.
"What Aiden?"
"Do they have Swampert here?""Probably, but you can't use it in the game."
"Then I'll stay." Aiden sat down on the ground and started to play with a rock. Jack sat down too. While Nathan knew why, this confused Mink. So she asked Jack about it.
"Why don't you want to go?"
"I just remembered that I can't use Bulbasaur." While this seemed like a stupid reason, it was true. Jack wouldn't do anything Pokémon if Bulbasaur wasn't apart of it. If he got a Pokémon game that Bulbasaur wasn't in and he couldn't get it, he wouldn't play the game. Except once because he found out he could get one traded to him if he had a different game.
Mink just said nothing and started to leave with Nathan. While they were leaving she heard Leroy holler at them, "Have fun you two." She tried to act like it meant nothing when she remembered what he probably meant by it. She began to get embarrassed, but realized Nathan didn't notice. They headed through the field towards the city.
