Alice's POV

Two weeks later, Jackson had started working but I insisted on getting my job later, we had moved to our own house.Jackson leaves the house by 8am and comes back home by 6pm.

It was in the morning, Jackson had left for work,I was home alone and bored. I decided to work on my laptop. Suddenly a thought came into my mind

"Why would Jackson have sex with Amber even after all I have him. He has to pay for what he did" I thought

I went to Harry's house to check on him.

" Good morning Harry" I said to him.
He looked ready for work and was about to leave

"Morning Alice, how are you doing" he asked

" Am fine, I just wanted to know when you would be returning from work"I said

"I would be at home by 4pm,do you want to come over" he asked

"Yes,I want to come over" I said

"Okay then" he said

I left his house and went home. I started watching TV soon I was bored so I decided to read some novels and books.

After some hours, I checked time and saw that it was almost 4:30 pm, I had to meet Harry at his house. So I left for Harry's house

"Hey Harry" I said hugging him

"Alice you are here" he said pulling away from me

Soon a lady came out of his kitchen

"Hi" she said to me

"Alice meet my girlfriend Evelyn" Harry said

" Hey"I said and faked a smile at her

"I thought that Harry still loved me" I thought in my mind

We all sat in the living room and started talking. I was still confused,why didn't she show up when we stayed at Harry's house. I had began to develop feelings for Harry

After some hours , I left his house and went to my house. I had to make dinner for Jackson.

After some minutes, Jackson was home

"Hey baby" I said hugging him

"Darling,how are you" he said

"Am fine baby" I said

"Am really tired and hungry"he said

" Okay just go inside and shower,your dinner is almost ready" I said

" Okay baby"he said kissing me

He went inside and after some minutes,he came back. I had served the table.

"I would be traveling next tommorow for a business meeting" he said while eating his food

"So I would be lonely"I said sadly

"Awwnnm.... Don't worry it is just for two days"he said

" Okay baby"I said

"why........ nevermind" I said

" What is it"he said

I wanted to ask why he had sex with Amber but I decided not to

"It is nothing" I said

"Okay,but just tell me if anything is bothering you"he said smiling and I smiled back

I left him and went inside.Soon my phone rang. It was my mom

"Hey mom" I said

"How are you over there" she said

"Am fine mom,how is my brother" I asked

"He is fine,did you hear that Amber's wedding was cancelled"she said

" Yes, she told me"I said

" Okay, I just wanted to check on you" she said

"Okay bye mom" I said and dropped my phone on the bed then Jackson came inside

"Are you sure everything is fine" he said

"Yes" I said

"I mean you just left the dining and didn't even wait for me to finish eating" he said

"Am fine"I replied

" Okay"he said and started tickling me and I started laughing. He started pulling my shirt off

"Am not in the mood" I said taking his hands off me

"No baby please" he said

"Am feeling sleepy, goodnight" I said and I kissed him and went to bed
