seeing death

The infirmy

   Nico was partially blind he could kinda see light but that was really it. the seven didn't know he was blind.the seven..well six..now.nico's heart twisted at that.leo's death was hella weird but telling people that wouldn't really do anything. Leo death may have felt weird but he was still dead. that didn't change. anyway back to the nico.he was blinded by some center blood that landed in his eye. He lost his sight a little before he got trapped in that jar.nico shivered at that.the war was over. Nico had lived through two wars now. he felt more empty. Nico had only survived this long thanks to his dad.he summoned ghosts to guide him.they whispered in his ears telling him where to go. He used the dead, Nico could sense the graves and stuff around them.all of these things had kept Nico secret safe. if he had told the seven, now six that he was blind they would have babied him, sent him home and Nico didn't want that and didn't need that.his ghost kept him from making mistakes, facing the wrong directions while talking, told him what stuff said.nico was snapped out of his thoughts by a knock on the door.

He said "come in" Jason walked in and said"gods Nico it's so dark in here how do you even see" Nico stiffened at his words but the ghosts whispered that he didn't know yet.

Nico said, "Jason did you come in here to bitch about my horribly decorated and apparently light cabin or tell me something?"Nico's voice came out colder than he intended making Jason flinch.

Jason said "Jeez... Neks that was cold" his voice sounded hurt.nico's exception softened a bit and he said " sorry Jason didn't mean to be rude but.. why are you in here?" that was better Nico thought to himself. Jason rolled his eyes though Nico couldn't see it

"well um...Nico have you seen haz"Jason started but Nico cut him off "yes she's still sleeping"       " oh" Jason motioned for Nico to follow him outside. A ghost shoved Nico forward and one guided him.

out on the porch 

Jason said "look Nico the reason I wanted to talk to you, I know what you said back at Asters palace, I know you already turned down a place at camp Jupiter, I...I probably can't change your mind about leaving camp half-blood but I have to.." "I'm staying" 

"what?" "at camp half-blood" Nico could hear the disbelief in his voice." the hades cabin needs a head counselor and ... you've seen the inside of the cabin" Nico shivered, his ghosts had informed him of the decor and he could feel some of it.

" that's....that's fantastic dude" Jason opened his arms for a hug then froze."right no touching sorry" truthfully Nico didn't hate human contact but when Jason had grabbed him his ghost couldn't tell him in time to doge then he was whisked off his feet.no contact with the ground so no spirt/dead sonar and he had no idea where he was, so Nico didn't really trust human contact anymore. sure it had it's benefits he felt more grounded and sure of his surrounding but living were too unpredictable.

the ghosts nudged Nico forward. well, no use in turning back now." I guess it's fine this once" Nico said as Jason crushed him in a hug. Nico tried not to flinch at the sudden contact.

after that Jason proceeded to gush like a 12-year-old girl about all the stuff they were gonna do together. the ghosts shock Nico out of his hug with Jason. telling him that will was waving at him and pointing to ground like come here." uh Jason I had to go" "oh sorry" Jason said then crushed him in another hug and walked away squealing like a little girl. okay was he even straight Nico thought as he made his way to will.

OKAY, I JUST GONNA SKIP THE NEXT TWO SEENS BECAUSE WE ARE HERE FOR SOLANGLEO AND WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE BOOK NOT WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW, NICO AGREE'S TO GO TO THE INFIRMARY FOR THREE DAYS AND TELLS PERCY HE WAS GAY FOR HIM. OKAY LETS GET BACK TO STUFF.ALSO, EACH CHAPTER IS GONNA BE AT LEAST 1000 WORDS. ALSO, THESE ARE RICK RIORDAN'S CHARACTERS.

Nico walked beside will solace as they walked into the infirmary. Nico's hand kept twitching like he wanted to grab wills.nico had been to infirmity before but never conscious. he never just took a stroll there. when he was there he had to be injured. so Nico didn't really remember a getting there with his sight. so this was an entirely new experience. the ghosts guided him and keep Nico safe sure but new things were still scary. having human contact would make it a little easier. but that would mean telling will and that was not happening.so either find a totally friendly way of holding will's hand or sucking it up.

soon Nico was directed to the infirmary by ghosts. Will opened the door to the infirmary and a ghost  shoved him in. Will guided Nico to his bed for the next three days. Nico sat on it and tried not to touch it excessively. He wanted to get to know his new surroundings.he would only be here for three days but he had never really been here blind and he knew he'd probably be here again, he was a demigod after all.

the ghost's nudged Nico so he faced will's direction.will said "I gonna start the check-up now okay?" Nico nodded. Will did all sorts of medical things Nico didn't really understand or cared about. He just tried to soak in the infirmary. the room was well lit.maybe with torches?

Nico was snapped out of his thoughts by will voice "do you have any injures from your dangerous shadow run across the world? Nico nodded and rolled down his long sleeves to reveal his werewolf scratches. Will gasped and ran away to get some medical supplies,coming back muttering about Nico being stupid not starting off the check-up with this first. Will grabbed Nico's arm and started disinfecting it, making Nico wince. soon Will was stitching up Nico's arm. Causing Nico to hiss a lot.aftear will was raping gaze around Nico's arm.nico would have asked what will was doing because it was terrifying.if will had know Nico was blind he might have told him'hey Nico I'm gonna disinfect then stitch up your wound wall not talking to you at all' but he didn't. Nico would have totally had a mini panic attack if the ghosts weren't there. Telling him what was happening and not to ask, because it would be probably the biggest hint to 'hey Nico's eyes don't work'.

Will backed up from Nico's bed about to go off on him about how stupid and dumb he was for not saying something sooner.then seemed to pick up on the waves of panic and nervous energy coming off of him.will stepped closer to Nico and put a hand on Nico's shoulder. Nico jumped a bit at the sudden contact.

" Nico.... are you okay?" "oh um yeah I ... um... I'm just tired" it wasn't a total lie ether he was tired.shawdows seemed to drag on him. Will a little unconvinced nodded and went to do head healer stuff.

Nico laid down on his bed and let sleep take him away.
