Chapter 24: I beg you...

Lily's POV:

Ethan went out for a few minutes to go do something and I found myself alone with Brad in this room

"- You shouldn't have come. I repeated to him, crying

- Stop, you think I was going to leave you alone with this guy ?! I haven't been living for two days because I was worried about you! He told me

- He hates you ... He's gonna kill you ... I said, lowering my head. You have to do everything to run away.

- Lily, I wouldn't leave you here, you understand?

- But I don't want you to die ... I said while tears ran down my cheeks.

- And I don't want you to die either. You know I couldn't live without you ... He confessed to me

- How cute. Ethan told us as he entered and applauded us. You are pitiful. He hatefully said

- Let her go. Said Brad, looking at him somberly

- So that she can tell everyone everything? In your dreams. He answered. But I need answers so we're going to have a little fun. He told us with a smile before rolling up his sleeves. "

Ethan started walking around the room, passing behind Brad and me multiple times, smiling. We knew it didn't bode well, but I was praying inwardly for him to come to his senses. He hadn't managed to kill me the first time, I was hoping he would be the same today so that we both can leave safe.

My gaze fell on Brad. He looked confident, he didn't let anything show through. Even knowing him for years I couldn't figure out what he was thinking, I could just see hatred in his eyes when he looked at Ethan.

I was terrified. I knew how much Ethan hated my best friend. For reasons that eluded me, he hated him with all his being. I knew what Ethan was capable of, I knew he was perfectly capable of killing him if he wanted to and that was what scared me the most.

Ethan will not have mercy on B as he had had mercy on me

"Now you're gonna answer me. Said Ethan approaching Brad. Did you warn someone? He asked him, getting closer to him

- I don't know. He said with a sly smile and I knew it was going to escalate

- Don't play with me, you're nothing. He replied by clenching his fists. I repeat my question, is anyone aware of where we are hiding ?!

- I don't know. He answered and Ethan stood up before taking a knife out of his pocket and approaching me. Brad's eyes changed, he was worried

- We'll see if it can help you remember. He said before standing in front of me. He put the blade of his knife on my arm while I was crying, I was afraid. Let's have fun. He said before pressing the blade into my skin as I screamed in pain.

- STOP! Brad screamed as he struggled against his chair as Ethan continued to press the knife. ENOUGH ! He shouted and Ethan stopped before getting up, smiling

- So ? Did you warn someone?

- No. Tristan knows we found the address of the chalet, but I took the address with me. He replied and Ethan violently replaced the knife in my arm while I screamed again

- If you're lying, I'll kill her. He said

- I'm not lying so leave her alone! My best friend screamed as he continued to struggle. I had never seen him so upset, but to be honest, I was thinking more about the pain and the blood running down my arm. She has nothing to do with all that.
