The next morning Jeremiah woke up in his new bed. Beside him Bruce was laying, Jeremiah was only wearing underpants and Bruce had a blanket over him, but as far as Jeremiah could see it looked like he didn't wear anything. Jeremiah slowly got up from the bed, their clothes were laying all around his bedrooms floor. Jeremiah rubbed his eyes and went out to the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror, he had hickies on his neck and chest. He couldn't remember what happened yesterday. He only remember him and Bruce opening a bottle of wine at some point and them going to the bedroom to have some 'fun'. He quickly put on a shirt to hide most of the hickies that were on his chest.
Jeremiah yawned and went out to the living room. He could see the sun had just came up behind the buildings out of the windows. He looked at the sofa and table, there was some empty bottles laying around, Jeremiah went over and realized it was wine and champagne. He couldn't remember how they got so much alcohol.

He went into the kitchen and started making coffee. He had a massive headache.
He could hear someone mumbling and walking, he saw Bruce step into the kitchen. He had underpants on now.
"Morning." Jeremiah said and poured some coffee in to two mugs. He took a sip of one of them and handed the other to Bruce.
"Morning." Bruce said and took the coffee and rubbed his head. "What happened last night?"
"I'm guessing we went a little wild last night." Jeremiah said and touched his hickies on his neck.
"Wish I could remember it." Bruce said with a smile and went over to Jeremiah and kissed him. He then took a sip of his coffee.
"Shouldn't you get ready to be at the gcpd? Wasn't Jim telling you to not get late again?" Jeremiah asked while trying to figure out what to do for breakfast.
"Yeah.. But I could just say I'm too sick-"
"too hungover-"
"to work today." Bruce said and sat down on a chair by the kitchen island.
"And what about Alfred?" Jeremiah said while realizing he didn't know what to do with breakfast.
"I'll just call him and say it was a tough case and I have to work a bit more. But I'll probably have to go home today. But we still have a bit of time?" Bruce said with a smirk.
"Bruce we are both too exhausted and hungover." Jeremiah said. "Do you wanna go out to eat breakfast?"

They had went to a diner and sat and waited for their food. Jeremiah had borrowed Bruce's turtle neck to hide his hickies and Bruce had borrowed a shirt from Jeremiah.
A waitress came and gave them their pancakes.
"Thank you." Bruce said to the waitress. She walked away.
"Are you sure Gordon and Alfred will believe you?" Jeremiah asked and started to eat his pancake.
"Yeah. I'm pretty sure." Bruce said and ate a piece of his pancake. Jeremiah looked over Bruce's shoulder over towards the front door, he saw Harvey and Jim step in.
"I don't think it will work just by lying Brucey." Jeremiah said. Bruce saw Jeremiah looking over his shoulder and looked behind him, he saw Harvey and Jim.
"Crap." Bruce said and looked at Jeremiah again, he put his head a little down.
"They already saw us." Jeremiah said when he saw Jim and Harvey walk towards them.
"Jeremiah. Bruce. What are you two doing here?" Jim asked.
"Why are you here detective?" Jeremiah asked.
"I asked first." Jim said. Both Bruce and Jeremiah didn't know how to explain this.
"We are just.. Eating breakfast." Bruce said.
"Alfred asked me if you were still with me working on a case. I was confused over what he meant, and then I found out you hadnt been home. I said you were probably together with Jeremiah since I saw you two. But then he suddenly became raging over it. What is going on between you and Jeremiah?" Jim said.
"It's none of your business detective." Bruce said. "Can we eat breakfast in peace maybe?"
"Bruce. Both me and Alfred are worried." Jim said and only looked at Bruce, it was like he had forgotten Jeremiah also was there.
"I think it's best if I leave.." Jeremiah said and was about to get up.
"You stay right there pal." Harvey said. Jeremiah stayed in his seat. Jim looked at Jeremiah.
"Isn't that Bruce's shirt?" Jim said and looked over at Bruce. Neither Bruce or Jeremiah said anything. "You two are coming with me, I am gonna find out what's going on. Put Jeremiah in handcuffs, I don't trust him." Jim said. Harvey grabbed Jeremiah and made him get up. He put Jeremiah in hand cuffs.
"Let him go." Bruce said and got up from his seat. "He haven't done anything wrong."
"Come on." Jim said and grabbed Bruce's arm.
"Let, go." Bruce said threatening. Jim quickly put him in handcuffs too.

They had gotten Jeremiah and Bruce in the back of their police car. Bruce and Jeremiah looked at eachother, Bruce was angry and frustrated, while Jeremiah was just worried about what was gonna happen now between them.

They were both stared at when walking into the gcpd.
They were put in a interrogation room each so they couldn't talk  together.
Harvey talked to Jeremiah while Jim talked to Bruce.

"Where were you all night?" Jim asked Bruce who had been handcuffed to the table. Bruce just looked at him annoyed. "Goddamnit just answer me Bruce!"
"I don't remember." Bruce said. It was half a lie. He knew he had been with Jeremiah, but he couldn't remember what they were doing for the most part.
"I know you are lying Bruce. Why were you with Jeremiah?" Jim asked.
"We are friends. He invited me to breakfast." Bruce said with no expression on his face.
"Why was he wearing your shirt then?" Jim asked while slowly starting to get more and more frustrated with Bruce.
"He was cold." Bruce said.

"Where were you last night?" Harvey asked Jeremiah who was also handcuffed to the table in another interrogation room.
"My apartment." Jeremiah answered him nice.
"Why were you and Bruce together?" Harvey asked.
"He invited me to breakfast." Jeremiah said.
"Alright. But why are you then wearing his shirt?" Harvey asked.
"It's my own." Jeremiah said.
"No. I have seen bruce wearing that plenty of times, enough times to know that it's his shirt!" Harvey said. He grabbed Jeremiah's shirt by the collar and pulled him closer. "Now you better tell me what the hell is going on." Jeremiah was a bit scared by Harvey. He also was nervous if Harvey could see his hickies now that he was pulling his shirt by the collar. Harvey could see Jeremiah was scared. He let go of him.
"Tell me the truth goddammit!" Harvey yelled and slammed his hand on the table. Jeremiah flinched. He was scared.
Jim suddenly opened the door.
"Harvey." Jim said. Harvey looked threatening at Jeremiah and then he turned around and went over to Jim. They whispered something to eachother. They went out of the room.

After a while Harvey came in and took his hand cuffs off.
"Get up." He said.
Jeremiah got up and Harvey grabbed his arm and took him to the other interrogation room where Bruce was sitting by the table and Jim standing up. Bruce wasn't cuffed to the table anymore either. Harvey made Jeremiah sit down beside Bruce. Jim and Harvey looked at them.
"You're both lying. You both said the other person had invited you to breakfast, and the shirt, Bruce said that Jeremiah was cold but Jeremiah you say it's your own. And about last night, Bruce said he couldn't remember it and Jeremiah said he was in his apartment." Jim said. "Tell us the truth." Jim said and put his hands on the table.
Bruce and Jeremiah looked at eachother.
"We...." Jeremiah turned to Jim and said. He tried to tell them, but he was worried about Bruce's safety and relationship with Jim and Alfred.
"What? Bruce?" Jim said and looked over at Bruce and waited for him to say anything. Bruce hesitated too. He was also worried of what they would think.
Bruce was about to say something when Jeremiah stopped him.
"I tried to make him get into my plan to make bombs. I needed the lab from Wayne enterprises. Now let Bruce go. And because he couldn't remember last night was because I needed to drug him after he said no and tried to get me to the gcpd to get me arrested." Jeremiah lied. He knew what chance he took, and knew that he probably would end in blackgate or arkham. He just couldn't bare the thought of Alfred or Jim hating him.
"You do know you are admitting to a crime and we are gonna have to arrest you?" Jim said.
"Yes I do." Jeremiah said and got up and took out his hands.
"Jeremiah-" Bruce whispered frustrated and got up.
"You have no part in this Mr. Wayne." Jeremiah said. Jim put handcuffs on Jeremiah and took him out.

Jim put Jeremiah in a holding cell.
A few minutes later Bruce came out and went over to the holding cell where Jeremiah was sitting on the bench.
"Jeremiah." Bruce whispered. Jeremiah got up and went over to him. "Why did you do that?" Bruce asked with a bit of sad look.
"I didn't want to ruin the relationship between you and Alfred or Gordon. I know it means a lot to you and I wouldn't be able to bare see you lose your family because of me." Jeremiah whispered. Bruce took his hand through the bars and took Jeremiah's hand.
"Thank you Jeremiah. I will find a good lawyer for you, I will do my best to make you get out of prison as fast as possible okay?" Bruce whispered and held Jeremiah's hand for a few seconds more before letting go so no one would notice. Jeremiah nodded and had tears in his eyes. He felt like he wasn't allowed to be emotional but he couldn't help himself.
"Bruce. Step away." Jim suddenly was behind Bruce. Bruce turned around to Jim and stepped away from the cell.
