The Scarlet Queen

Chapter 9 - Aware

I woke up the next day, fully aware of what could possibly happen today. I can't wrap my head around it! I was either going to be murdered by the Queen's vampire side, or be taken to bed by her. I sat up on my bed before I heard a knock on the door. 

"Come in." I said to whoever was at the door. Let me try and guess who it might be. Natasha? 

Completely guessed wrong. It was actually the Queen. My 'mate'. She was carrying a tray full of breakfast just for me to eat, which was very nice of her. "Are you aware of what might happen today?" she asked me, placing the tray down onto the bed. I realised that she was wearing some black sunglasses...

"Yes, your majesty. I am fully aware." 

"Good. Here is some toast with some fruit." she told me before she left the bedroom immediately, just about I was going to say that I couldn't eat the toast as it was actually burnt. Fine. I will just have the fruit then...not that huge of a deal. I didn't know why I was so friendly to the bitch who started a war. But hey...I was her 'mate'.

As I was eating the fruit quite peacefully, I started to feel the same sparkling feeling in my stomach again. I knew what it was. I just didn't want to say it to anyone. Not yet. Not even my sister. 

I finished eating the fruit a few minutes later since there was quite a lot to choose from. Bananas, apples, grapes, strawberries...you name it. 

I let out a small deep sigh to myself before I laid back down onto the bed, closing my eyes for a few minutes which had actually turned into another couple of hours. I guess my body was still completely exhausted from my journeys with Natasha. 

As I was sleeping...the strange stupid feeling became stronger. I slowly opened my eyes to reveal that there was a dark red light coming from the window which made me started to breathe heavily at how intense this feeling was. Come on, Addison. You can conquer this on your own. 

Then, I heard a loud hiss coming from the throne room down stairs. It sounded like she was in some sort of pain, because I wasn't there with her. 

My body then started to move on its own as I moved the duvet off, making my way over to the door. I opened it without thinking correctly, I just wanted to see the Queen...I wanted to check on her. 

"Yes, Beth!" I heard my sister moan out her girlfriend's name. Good for her, at least. Now it might be my time to have some wild fun...

I then stopped just outside the throne room, pressing my ear against the door. Only to feel someone push me which made me scream a little as the door opened on me. I felt the Queen catch me, but it wasn't her. It was her vampire side...

"Perfect timing, my little flower. Just in time for the hot tub." she told me before she started to drag me. I kicked my legs, hoping that she will let me go but she had a strong grip on me. 

A few minutes later, she placed me down into it. "What are we doing, your majesty?" I asked her. Snap out of it! 

"Well, my little flower...I want us to have a good time. Just the two of us." she told me. Her eyes were completely black, and she was actually wearing a swim suit while I was just wearing my night dress. I took off the soaking wet night dress to let the water properly touch my skin. I was not naked yet.

Then, I watched the Queen move towards me before she started to smirk at me as I was just sitting still...watching her sit onto my lap again. She then leaned down, pressing her lips against mine deeply and passionately. 

I put my arms up in surrender as my heart decided to kiss her back. I let out a deep moan from the back of my throat as everything that we wore came off within an instant...

What was I doing with my life?
