Chapter 3

The rest of my week was blurring into one when Mr Tanning started yelling at me five minutes ago. My thoughts would let go of the spongebob episode I had seen in the morning.

Patrick didn’t know what to order and squidward got annoyed as I was in my head. Just order the damn krabby patty like everyone else!

“Miss Jilano!” Mr Tanning’s voice broke through my thoughts making me blubber out some nonsense. Everyone laughed at me, and started whispering to their friends around me.

Mr Tanning started yelling about how I should pay attention, and how he couldn’t possible know why I was getting A’s in his class. I sighed and started zoning out, thinking about Monday night.

When Jett and I jumped in the lake. Damn, I want to do something fun. But every time I get near him, he starts analysing me. I am not a text, I do not need to be analysed.

I could try something fun on my own. What is fun in this damn small town? There’s sailing, chilling on the beach.

I’ve got it! I’ll walk down the small stream by Lions walk. It’s the cleanest stream ever, and hardly anyone is ever there. And it has like knee high water. That would be fun right?

Well have a go and everything. Okay back up plan for if I get bored.

Go-carting in Masons Lodge. There are a lot of fun stuff here, but it’s more for people who have friends. Something in a group or a couple. But I’m a lone wolf. *Howls in her head then giggles*

Maybe I’m just crazy. But this stream thing sounds fun. I can take pictures of the cool scenery. I can feel the water on my legs, without all of me getting wet. I can walk and listen to music.

Plus I haven’t exactly seen where the stream ends up yet. I need to still explore this small town. First mission, see if walking down the stream is cool.

I’ll figure out the rest of them later. The bell rang, and I hurriedly packed my stuff up and went to my locker. Everyone still glared at me while I walked down the hall. Thank God looks can’t kill. Cause I’d surely be dead.

I watched Kay walk past with the cut on her forehead gone, but the bruises on her eye still fading. I laughed quietly while walking past.

“What? Gia want another fight?” She said stopping in front of me.

“Um, I don’t you do actually” I said throwing a smart remark that the dumb bimbo wouldn’t understand.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” She hissed. Told you. Dumb as a brick. Like talking to a damn wall. Dude, I’m so not funny. Yet I still find it hilarious!

“It’s supposed to mean that I banged you up quite hard last time, don’t think you want to start another one now do you? Not before you go on your little holiday now” I said smiling at her.

“Whatever, I don’t want to fight you anyway. I don’t want your skanky hands infecting me”

“Says the queen whore.” Everyone laughed at that and then shut up when she glared.

“I’m not the one who cheated on Jacob” She hissed and everyone ‘oo’ed.

“I didn’t. And I’m not cheating on my boyfriend now am I, miss I’ll blow the whole football team. That’s right word gets around. Small town and all.”
