A car rounded the corner, catching the curb and nearly Michelle on the way. "Watch it!" Michelle shouted after the car. She had stopped, Tony and Sid did too. Michelle watched the car pull into the car park, dodging some other students.

Tony scoffed, "probably a woman driving, you know-"

"Shut up, Tony," Sid interrupted, turning to Michelle. "You okay?" Michelle nodded, though she looked like she needed more attention than that, preferably her boyfriend, not her boyfriend's friend.

Michelle watched Tony as he watched the car pull into a space. "Right," Michelle said, heading over to the car. Tony and Sid followed. The car was surprising in good condition, reckless driving usually meant the car would be smashed up. This one, however, looked expensive and new. The owner hadn't gotten out yet and Michelle walked up to the window. She knocked and bent down, Tony and Sid stood behind her, looking in.

"Told you," Tony muttered to Sid as he saw a girl, dressed rather extravagantly for college.

The girl rolled down the window, "Can I help you?" She lit her cigarette and blew it out. Michelle coughed, standing back, wafting away the smoke.

The girl got out as Michelle steps forward, "you nearly hit me with your car!" The girl puts her hands up in defence and takes a drag of her cigarette.

"I was in a rush."

"To get to school?" Tony scoffed.

"To have a cigarette before school," the girl replied, taking another drag. She then offered one to them, "alright, I'm sorry. I'll give you lifts home if you want?"

Michelle bats away the cigarettes and walks away. The girl raises her eyebrows and looks at Tony and Sid. "Tony!" Michelle screeches from the school entrance.

"Another time, maybe?" Tony winks which cause the girl to frown.

"Not likely," she mutters as Tony walks away. Sid, however, stays. "Want one?" she asks once Tony and Michelle are inside. Sid takes it and thanks her. "I'm y/n," she says, leaning forward to light Sid's cigarette.

"Sid," he mumbled through the cigarette.

"Nice to meet you, Sid." y/n smiled, blowing out some smoke and leaning back on the car, "so, you wanna bunk off?"

"What?" Sid looked y/n up and down. She was overdressed, she wore a leather skirt with a tight red top and high heel boots. He shuffled on the spot as he stared. y/n reached out, lifting his head up. Sid blushed crimson and began stuttering.

y/n laughed it off, flicking the cigarette on the floor, "get in."

Sid looked to the school, where Michelle and Tony had reappeared. He thought for a second. Should he stay with Michelle, who always overlooks him or go with this beautiful stranger? He nodded, dropping the cigarette, walked around the car and got in. "For a second I thought you weren't going to get in," y/n said, starting the engine. "Scared me a minute there, Sid."

Michelle ran forward and was obviously screaming Sid's name at him. Sid just waved. "She's intense isn't she?" y/n asked Sid as they pulled out the car park.

"erm... well, not- yeah I guess," Sid said finally. He was going to say that she wasn't when you got to know her but that wasn't true. y/n laughed. "I mean she's not always like that. And, you did nearly knock her over."

"It was an accident," y/n said, glancing at Sid. "At least I don't have an undying crush on her." y/n turned her focus back to the road, Sid was about to say something, perhaps deny it. "Yes, it is that obvious. I saw you wanted to run after her. Why didn't you?" y/n asked.
