We sat down silently while dangling out legs from the hill. We had arrived approximately 10 minutes before the sunrise, but nevertheless the sky had started preparing.

The sky, eventhough black still, had a few streaks of red and white scattered across the entire sky, as if a child had accidentally mixed a few colors while painting.

Sunrises, or the sky in general, was always my safe getaway, my own little haven. Growing up the only place where I could be who I was and who I wanted to be without judgment was underneath the sky.

The sky never judges. The constant change that happens across it leaves no time for judgment and hatred.

Sometimes it feels like it carries all your worries and once the sky changes and you think it forgot about you, it would in fact go to seek help and advice you the next time you meet.
That's why the next day, you feel lighter and you think you can rule the world.

Turning to look at Edward, I asked,"What about you? Would you like to be famous?"
He smiled while tilting his head and looking at the sky. "Isnt it beautiful?" It was more of a statement than a question; he didnt wait for my answer and continued," Do you ever wonder what happens to the stars or moon or even sun when their time has ended?"

Taken aback by his question, I lie down on the floor and close my eyes. "Nothing. They enlighten another planet and once their time there has ended, they come back to us."
"What if they don't want to leave?"
"They have to, it's not their choice to make."

"One day I'm gonna be famous and you'll see.", he chuckled.
"Aha. Why is that Mr So Full of Himself?"
"Um querida have you seen me?", he smirks pointing at himself.

I dont answer him mesmerized by the skys colors.
The streaks of red, orange and yellow took over the darkness, that had taken over the sky a few minutes ago.

"I'll never be tired of this sight!", I said more to myself.
"I think sunrises are overrated.", edward said taking me by surprise.
"Excuse me? I'm offended on behalf of the sun.", I say crossing my hands over my chest.
He didnt say anything just had a small, sad smile play on his lips.

After a few minutes, I suggested we get to the restaurant, because I was dying of hunger.

Just as we started the 5 minutes walk to IHOP, Edward stood on a rock and said, "Would you like to join me in my musical?"
I chuckled and said in my best British accent,"Oh my! I thought you'd never ask." And place my hand in his outstretched one.
"So what shall we sing?"

"How about Do you wanna build a snowman?", Edward said laughing.
"Sure, if you're 3."
"Hey!", he says crossing his hands and pouting.
"How about Sunrise by Kygo? It fits perfectly."

"Wake me up, my eyes are heavy
And I need some sum, one hot and I am ready,
For whatever comes,
Nothing can keep me from you,
Nothing can keep me from you." He points and me and gives me a twirl.

"Something about, the things you told me
Oh I brought em down,
Yeah I took on with me to the place we found,
And I'll be waiting for you
Yeah I'll be waiting for you." I point a finger to him and we sing together, "Meet me at the sunrise, at the sunrise.", while moving our arms in unison right and left and back motioning the sunrise.
"One thing to check off my bucket list.", Ed says.
I chuckle and agree.

"I have to admit something.", I say. "I was scared you'd damage my ears."
"You hurt me querida.", he puts a hand on his heart for dramatically effect.
I roll my eyes,"But you turned out to have a bearable voice."
"You're not too bad yourself."
"I'll take it as a compliment. So thank you." I say while bowing.

We continue our walk to the IHOP place in silence, listening to the birds that had tuned with us a few seconds ago. And if you payed close attention, you'd figure out it was the same tune we sang and danced to.

I always wondered how actors in movies always randomly started singing and always dreamt of doing it. But I never thought that it would happen in real life. Fortunately, Edward had just proved me wrong.

What if Edward was the one that I had hoped my whole life to find? What if he was the one that would change my life and bring out the real me? I wondered while entering the restaurant.
