Chapter 6: what wrong?

Nolson:
It had been three days since our day and Gage still had responded to any of my text, I was going crazy.
I was pacing around my when I was interrupted by a ding from my phone sitting on my night stand, I ran over hoping it was Gage but it was Caden.

Caden: hey, my parents are still out of town, want to sleep over get high and play video games?

Yes I could finally get to see Gage

Nolson; yea, for sure, what time should i come over

Caden: how about now,

Nolson: ok, I'm on my way

I looked at the clock seeing it was 5 pm, I quickly got dressed in a white t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and white sneakers and packed a bag for tomorrow which everything I needed. I than grabbed the shoe box from under my bed pouring out enough coc for a single line, I rolled up the dollar from my pocket snorting the line and holding my nose as it burned. I out the box back as the high stared to hit me, I was kinda nervous seeing Gage right now but I wanted to make things right, I had to. I made sure to grab my pack of cigarettes and a lighter before heading downstairs, lucky for me by dad was passed out on the couch. left the house going to my car lit a cigarette in the way out, I started my car and was off to go see my Angel, I got there in 5 minutes kinda speeding.

I parking my car in the drive way and got out walking to the door and ringing the door bell, I hoped Gage would answer but it was Caden, well he was the fires friend I made when I moved down here so I can't say it wasn't good to see him. "Hey, Nolson" Caden said giving me a bro hug as I walked in and he shut the door behind me "that was fast" he chuckled heading to the living and sitting in the couch as I did to. "Yea, I just wanted to get out the house" I said laughing to, he cut on the tv flipping through the channels "so what's been up with you, I haven't seen you in school" he asked looking over at me for a second then looking back at the tv. "Yea I kinda got in a fight, then got suspended for a week" I sighed "is that how you got all those brui, and a fight with who?" He asked shocked "That guy Josh from the party" I scoffed "oh I hate that guy, what did he do?" He asked. "He was talking bad about Gage, calling him a slut and stuff" I said getting mad thinking about the whole situation "good, that fuckers always talking about Gage, then trying to get with him" "yea, that just made me so mad" I said truthfully. "I don't know what's been wrong with Gage hasn't been going to school" he said confused "did he say anything happen" I asked worriedly thinking Gage might have told him what happened "I don't know he said he didn't want to talk about it and just had been up in his room". "Do you think I could go talk to him" I asked hoping he would just say yea "uhhh I don't know, when he gets made someone knocking on his door just makes him way madder, so I wouldn't" he said "oh ok" I simply said even tho I wanted nothing more than to see him knowing it was my fault.

It was now 1am and I was high and drunk on the couch watching tv, Caden was passed out on the floor, I still didn't see me Gage yet, did I really make him feel like this?. I was suddenly really thirsty so I got up and went to the kitchen grabbing a cup out of the cabinet going the fridge to get some water, I walked to the kitchen table sitting down almost falling like 10 times. I then heard footsteps coming down the stairs slowly then Gage appeared in the kitchen walking towards the kitchen, there kitchen was set up to wear you cold walk from the living to the fridge with looking at the kitchen table so I guess he didn't see me.

He open the fridge looking through it I slowly got up walking up to him "hi" I said in a low tone, he jumped slamming the fridge shut but not turning around "I've beent trying to call and text you, Caden said you haven't been going to school, I just want to say I'm so sorry for what I did" I said coming up behind him places a hand on his shoulder. He tried to walk away but I grabbed his hand stopping him "why won't you look at my, angel" "just please l-" I cut him off by turning him around, then I saw it. He had a big black eye and he looked like he hasn't slept in days, who would do this to him, I grabbed his face gently to look at me "who did this to you" I asked kissing his forehead "n-nobody" he said started to cry "please tell me what happened, Gage" I asked getting mad. "please just lea-" "WHO WAS IT" I yelled slamming my hand on the counter beside him, he jumped "J-Josh , it was Josh, p-please don't h-hurt me" he stuttered out. "I'm sorry, I yelled, I would never hurt you angel" I said pulling him into my arms as he cried.

"I don't know why anyone would hit someone as beautiful as you" I whispered into his ear stroking his hair "todo you think you could come up to my room, just till I fall asleep" he said into my chest. I can't believe he was asking me to come to his room "of course" I said picking him up bridal style and carrying him up the stairs, he told me where his room was. I carried him in closing the door behind us as I laid him on the bed Pulling the covers over him as I sat back in the chair by his bed "can you lay with me" I was shocked "a-are you sure" I asked. He just nodded, I quickly got up coming to his bed side and getting in pulling the covers over both of us.

The room was silent for a moment before I spoke up "can you tell me what happened, please" I whispered since the room was so quiet. He hesitated at first "I-It was Monday during lunch, I was just walking the halls because I didn't f-feel like being by people u-until j-josh stopped me. H-he just kept a-asking to for me to come over to his house that n-night a-and I kept saying no, b-but h-he just started touching m-me and I was b-begging him to s-s-stop but he w-wouldn't. I tried pushing him away then h-he just started h-hitting me until I was on the ground and he just walked a-away" he stuttered out while turning around to sob into my chest and I held him close. My blood jus started to boil as I heard what he said, I was just picturing it in my head, someone hitting suck a beautiful angel like him, I was going to teach Josh a lesson there was no doubts about it.

"Angel, I'm sorry about what he did to you, I'll hurt him 10 times more than he hurt you I pro-" "no, please don't that's not the answer" he said still crying . "Yes it is, Gage, look at your fucking eye, he deserves it, he's the reason I got suspended" I half held but had to quite done when I saw he scared look on his face "w-what do you mean" he asked staring into my eyes. I sighed "we were at lunch and he came up to me and just started saying these awful things about you that I'm sure weren't true and I lost my tempered ally fast, I guess he didn't get suspended because he didn't throw the first punch" I said caressing his check softly. "Please, don't be mad at me" I begged "I'm not, Nolson, but the things he said probably were true, I'm a slut who's fucked half the school" he said hiding his face into my chest "hey, look at me Gage, there's is way more to you than your sex life, your a person with feelings and dreams and that's way more important" I said honestly making him look up at me. "You mean that" he asked "of course, beautiful" he blushed when I called him that, the room went silent again, ya just staring into each other's eyes. I started to lean in and so did he, our lips met and it was almost like magic, I felt so good all of a sudden, and it was just the weed or alcohol, I deepened the kiss when he put his arms around my neck but soon pulled away not wanted to take it to for and mess everything up. We were breathing heavily as we pulled away and went back to just staring into each other's eyes.

"I really like you, Nolson" Gage said smiling up at me, my heard literally just skipped a beat but I kept my cool "I really like you too" I said smiling back. "Can we go to sleep now?" He asked "of course, baby" I said pulling him closer as he closed his eyes, we both drifted off to sleep i peaceful silence. I can't believe I was in his bed with him in my arms, I don't think I've ever liked anyone this much this fast before.
