South Korea was a country filled with many successful businesses. There were millions of companies and enterprises within the city of Seoul. The top two, however, belonged to the Jeon family and the Choi family. The two families had been fighting for the #1 spot for as long as anyone could remember, thus there was always such a strong rivalry between these two families. So, when the future heirs of the families were born, it was expected that the two children should hate each other, and be each other's enemy.

Since they were children, they were taught to hate each other,

"...and that is why the death penalty should be legal," I finished.

We were currently having a debate in history class and I had just ended my argument.

The teacher turned to the opposing side to pick the next speaker.

"Yes, Jeon Jungkook,"

I mentally rolled my eyes. Jungkook would always go so far to win any argument,

Especially , if it was against me.

"Well, our group thinks that the death penalty should be illegal in the world," he started.

"Punishing anyone, to death is such an inhumane  act," he continued, specifically looking at me.

"My group and I collectively agreed on punishments that would perform increasingly more effective than the death penalty," he said with a grin.

Our teacher smiled, "Yes, continue,".

"The winner of today's debate is....Jeon Jungkook's group," my teacher said at the end of class.

After class ended, I headed to my locker to return my books.

"Haerin-ahhh~~" I sneered, knowing too well who's voice it was.

"Yes, Jungkook," I turned around to face him.

"Haerinn~" he sang cockily, leaning in too  close to my face.

"Aren't you going to congratulate me for winning today?"

I scoffed as I shut my locker.

"As if," I said, kicking his shin as hard as I could.

I could hear Jungkook yell as I walked away to my next class.

"Yah!! Choi Haerin!"

"What?"

"You're bothering me more than usual today, what's going on?" I asked looking at Jungkook suspiciously.

"I have to ask you a question, dummy," Jungkook grumbled.

"What is it," I asked, stopping near our classroom.

"Are you coming to the party later tonight?"

Every week there would be a company party held for the businesses. Being the sons and daughters of the CEOs, it was important that we attend.

"Yeah? isn't it mandatory?"

"Oh ok," Jungkook just mumbled.

"Wait why?" I asked, skeptical.

"Jimin's family can't come since they're on a trip overseas, so I was wondering if you were gonna be there," Jungkook said simply.

"I'd rather talk to you than a bunch of fake cocky heirs," he continued.

"Really? you know our parents would really be surprised if we  were talking to each other?"

"I mean, I'm surprised I'm talking for you  this long," Jungkook scoffed.

"You're more boring than I thought,"

I frowned and stormed off to my seat in our classroom.

But before I could ever sit down, I saw Jungkook heading my way.

"Also," he started.

"You better try not to ditch or anything, I don't want to waste hours of my life fake smiling,"

"Yeah yeah~ now go-"

"I'll be waiting, loser," Jungkook said and flicked my forehead.
