TRIGGER WARNING SELF HARM

The cells collect under his nails.
The cells rip away from his tissue.
The cells burn as they tear away from eachother.
The cells hurt.

Not only do the cells physically hurt, they mentally hurt.
The cells are crying.
Crying for help they don't want to receive.

The cells are scared of being selfish and needy.
The cells are scared of being overwhelming.
The cells are scared of pushing people away.

So they are okay with getting raked away.
Nails too short to do damage peel them off with friction.
Self harm is not always a blade to the skin.
Sometimes its a scratch too deep and not thin.
